How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Welcome to another week. How did you like BackLash? I enjoyed it for what it was, though it seemed to prompt more questions than answers but I suppose that’s all right. That’s one tactic to maintain interest.   As for the Wrestling World, there a few things I can touch on so let’s get to it shall we. BackLash Fallout awaits!   Over in the Realm of AEW, I took a look at the Title Match on   “Fairway to Hell” the short Collision show that they had right at the end of BackLash. PAC, even with help from the Riders of Death, could not best Darby Allin this time around, evening out their head-to-head at 2-2.   There’s a lot that could go on from this point, so I’m curious. PAC opted for the unsportsmanlike conduct and half tried to “kill” Allin by tossing him off the 2nd level deck onto some set up and stacked tables.   What’s Going On, Enthusiasts? Happy BackLash! So, we got a decent card awaiting us this afternoon and I’m looking at a couple matches specifically. This won’t be a long post because of that but hopefully I prove that I got handle on this stuff. I have been watching for a while, you know. The first match I’ve got eyes on is the opener in Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker. To look at it, you wonder why Rollins would show up. What could he possibly do against this young warrior? Well, that’s kinda what we have to see. This is a precipice of WWE modern history. What once was the “hot new thing” is now staring at what is the current “hot new thing”. It has different connotations in this day and age, especially with the current climate. Not living up to the “myth the legend” could mean Rollins is on the chopping block.  Breakker, fresh and young, has nothing but potential at this stage. What can he become? Rollins has more to lose here, otherwise he’s just putting Breakker over. Trut...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, the IWC is kinda strange right now. It’s just full of rumors and speculations. I suppose that’s always but the line between fact and fiction has never been so blurred. You ever stop to think that all of it may just be talk? There may be morsels of truth here and there but I can’t really believe half of what’s coming across my feed at the moment. None of it is substantiated and we’ll probably never know the truth because we’ll be told whatever they want to tell us, at least when it comes to the WWE. I’ll elaborate on that in a minute but first let’s see what else is going on and then I’ll get into all this…whatever.   So, in the land of AEW the Future appears “cloaked” at the moment and that’s exactly as it should be. The Riders of Death have taken in Will Ospreay and so far, their influence appears to be positive. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to Monday. Well, the IWC has had plenty to talk about this weekend. You’ll find I don’t have as much to say but it’s newsworthy enough for me to say something. I’ll get to it in a bit but let’s start as we do and then end with it. How’s that? Here we go.   In the Realm of AEW, matters were kept perfunctory with Will Ospreay abroad honoring some New Japan commitments. The Riders of Death just maintained face with some help from the The Dogs and won their 10-Man Tag. That’s all fine and good for now. AEW has their own internal speculations to concern themselves with. I don’t blame ‘em for sticking to business.   In the WWE Universe, some more releases changed the landscape but these were less shocking. The biggest being the New Day, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, opting to take their business elsewhere. I could see that fun could be had but it could get “heavy” with the “wrong” exchange or look. It’s all very…we’ll see which is fair for this point in the story. Very good, gentlemen. This makes me generally less apprehensive. You want to have fun with this, not overshoot the mark. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week. So, for the most part the IWC is still reeling from last week’s WWE releases. It’ll get over it but it’s a disconcerting time for the fans. There’s a lot of talk of all the ads filling up WWE airspace and then there’s the news that SmackDown is returning to a 2-hour format. So, what are we going to be watching exactly? Room was made on the roster so we can barely get exposed to new talent and get inundated with consumerism?   Should we switch to AEW and/or TNA? Personally, I prefer MLW if I had to chose an alternative but they’re not on TV consistently enough. As for the named options, I’m not sure that’s realistic at this point but if these moves don’t improve the product, it may be an unexpected consequence. Both are still lacking in production values to be considered threats at present but both promotions do have decent talent, especially when it comes to those WWE didn’t value, and ads aren’t taking up half of t...

Besides that, nothing too crazy has been going on this past week. Yet, we got enough to have a chat so, let’s get into it, shall we?   To start, let’s swing by the Realm of AEW. They’re doing their thing but there’s been some talk about Lio “Blackheart” Rush’s “demented” reimagining of late. So, I took a couple ganders at it. I saw his match on Dynamite from last week out of curiosity and then took a look at this week's for the same reason. Commenters don’t care for it but I kinda understand it in theory. Lio Rush is like 75lbs on a good day so, he’s a little guy and that’s hard to get over when you got big brutes walking around. How does this little dude get the W? Well, a “psych out” can work. I don’t mind a person using their smarts or crazy to be believable out there.   However, what people generally don’t like...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   How’d you enjoy WrestleMania 42. I liked it! It wasn’t the best show ever but it was cohesive and generally enjoyable. The IWC, as always, had plenty to say but the general consensus was that Night 2 was better than Night 1 though Night 2 seemed to keep to a tighter schedule. We wrapped up when it was still light out so, guess no complaints if you had work today. Everyone else was free to fill their night with whatever.     All in all, the former Shield members had a good showing. Though Seth Rollins didn’t win his match his and GUNTHER’s was match of Night 1 if you ask me. Yet, Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk lived up to its main event stature and took match of the weekend. The finish could be called a bit comical as you had 2 “old guys” trying to outlast the other but Reigns managed to hang on to victory.   The “surprises” were subtle as it appears Brock Lesnar called it quits after his clear loss to Oba Femi.
