Yeah, They'll Show You the Way but SmackDown Has the Keys...

How Goes It, Enthusiasts?

Is Tuesday treating you well?  I still can’t complain.  So, let’s get right to it, shall we.  It appears that the Head of the McMahon family still has the final say in the end as our “Man” Becky Lynch is now under a 60-day suspension and Charlotte has been dubbed to take her place.  I can’t say I saw this coming but at the same time, I’m not upset with the twist.  I think it’s a good sign, actually.  Creative is actually thinking.  We wanted better content, right?  They’re telling us a story.  When’s the last time they’ve done that? (^_~) Now, they have to take it somewhere interesting and set it down cleanly.  Here’s where the door opens for ridicule but be lenient.  This is a long-running, serial show.  These storylines aren’t always going to be the strongest but what sets up WrestleMania will always get some scrutiny.  We’ll see if they build some good hype.

In other news, Dean Ambrose’s win over the over-confident EC3 could be a little whiff of hope but I won’t speculate too much.  They’re at least letting Ambrose have fun if he is winding down his clock.  Found the vote of confidence to Seth Rollins interesting too.  They shouldn’t have turned him like they did anyway.  Glad their doubling back on that angle.

So, for tonight’s SmackDown we have the makings of a Gauntlet Match for Elimination Chamber order.  I suppose winner’s pod opens last?  The thing about tonight is that word has it that Mustafa Ali hasn’t been cleared for the either match so, the idea is to replace him with a member of the New Day.  Gotta do what you gotta do.  The show must go on!  Personally, I always had a hard time getting in to the Elimination Chamber.  I find the pod timing a little awkward not to mention the whole thing has a penchant for malfunction be it planned or otherwise.  The match rarely seems to go smoothly and that may be the point but as you can see, it’s hard to settle in.  In any case this is the main selling point for tonight, besides being the Elimination Chamber Go-Home Show.  I’ve already seen snippets of Charlotte embracing her heeled entry into WrestleMania so there’s some RAW recap.  We’ll have to see how they fit all the SmackDown pieces together.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites let us show openness.  Someone may just get encouraged to greatness.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
