RAW Is Now Right Where It Should Be - Plotting a Course Towards WrestleMania!!........

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts!

Did you catch FastLane?  You know what, it wasn’t all that bad.  I have to say it was one of the more engaging PPVs in quite some time.  There were some “last minute” changes that had the Cien Almas vs. Rey Mysterio match converted into a Fatal-4-Way with R-Truth & Samoa Joe and moved to the main show while The New Day vs. Rusev &  Shinsuke Nakamura opened during the Kick-Off Show.  This actually was a fun match that opened festivities on a high note.  It was comforting to see.  It was also nice to see WWE Creative make things interesting by tossing in some drama, teasing us with the Kofi Kingston and the RAW Women’s Title match. There is some talk that the women’s matches got the short end of the stick, though and not to condone it but do remember this is a relatively new format.  Not to say there weren’t some talented lasses that have graced WWE’s halls, it’s just that more often than not, they were noted for their sex appeal then prowess in the ring.  Nowadays, it’s more or less the other way around.  Don’t expect this to be fair down the middle overnight.  This will be a gradual progression.  Right now, we just have to be thankful they’re willing to experiment.

Now, I didn’t expect this but the Shield and the Heel Crew facing off for the main event was actually the match of the evening for me yet, they may have to give an assist to Randy Orton.  Elias was doing his little musical asides between matches and on the last one, we got an awesome “RKO Outta Nowhere!” done on him.  It lit up the crowd just enough for the party to follow.  It was a lot of fun.  Even Seth Rollins got jazzed up with dropping the M-F bomb.  It was a great time!  So, I suppose we’ll have to expect some sort of reversal tonight.

I may not be too far off because it’s advertised that the Shield will grace us with their presence this evening by opening RAW with their farewell address.  So, recently they have been stating that Dean Ambrose is leaving the company on Commentary which makes this seem like it’s very real but is it?  Is that just what they want us to think?  I hope so.  I do feel that Ambrose is better off on-side than a regular civilian but in the end, if he does in fact what to pursue the Greener Pastures, all power to him.   I think more or less the door is always open to the likes of him.

As for the rest of the night’s content there’s not much going around.  Looks like Bobby Lashley will re-focus on the Intercontinental Title and get a match out of Finn Bálor.  Also, Triple H and Dave Batista are scheduled to appear for an in-ring face-to-face.  I don’t necessarily need this match to happen.  Though they’re in shape, it’s a geriatric showdown and it’s hard to get excited for those but if they can season this temp-feud just right, we may just scarf it down.  What say you, Enthusiasts?  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, feel free to let it hang out.  We got some loose time from here to WrestleMania.  Let’s make the most of it.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
