RAW Takes Another Turn at the Wheel as We Head to WrestleMania....

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts?

Well, the news going around isn’t the best so I can understand if this feels more like a Monday than usual. Shall we get into it anyway? As They say, the Show must go on.

So, the “heelfully” infamous Razor Ramon/Scott Hall has passed. He was on life support during the past 24 hours after suffering 3 heart attacks during surgery for a broken hip. Apparently he broke it from a fall. That’s just too bad. Try to take care of yourselves in your old age. It’s always a shame when something like a fall busts a person into pieces. He was only 63. I would hate it if my fate hinged upon something like that. Take this as a cautionary tale and keep up on your calcium intake.

As for the man, I only really knew of him. I missed his heydays. Yet, given the response on Social Media, I can see he definitely left behind a legacy. May he rest in peace. It’s a shame. A moment of silence if you will….

In somewhat lighter news, Xavier Woods has returned to the fray. We can only assume that it’s in response to Big E’s injury. I can’t imagine Big E would be back this year. Nice to know that Woods can step in. He’s also keeping it interesting on Social Media as he takes shots at Kenny Omega. They’re battle may be over Super Puzzle Fighter but maybe one day it can be in the ring. I don’t know what would have to happen to make that fly but no harm in putting it out in the Universe. It may manifest one day.

To ride their coattails in AEW/WWE news, latest rumors have Cody Rhodes biding his time until it’s announced he’s back to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. So…what would be the angle? I would work the legacy angle. Something along the lines of Rollins never being good enough. Now, if they go this route, it wouldn’t hurt to lean into the whole legacy lore. You got The Bloodline, Randy Orton, The Mysterios, Charlotte and Natalya for starters. All of them were born into it. Sure, The Shield was big. We’re still stirred by their legend but only one of them was “born to do it.” I’m not saying this is a Heel version of Rhodes though it makes sense. Doing it this way allows for him to be delusional. He can still think himself “Face”. Yet the kayfabe eugenics will always speak the real truth. It allows Rollins a chance to be humbled as Rhodes waltzes back in on the nepotism card. It’s just an idea but building the story is something that WWE tends to unnecessarily lack. I just rambled off the backbone for internal politics. They never get into it. Establishing the legacies can start establishing the faux politics of the WWE Universe. Let’s see if they can make Rhodes’ return actually mean something.

Before we get our hopes up, let’s come back around to tonight’s RAW. As we all know, there’s a few weeks until WrestleMania so we’re getting nice and acquainted with No Man’s Land. This week, we have to look forward to RKBro’s Title celebration, ‘cause it can lead to chaos. Kevin Owens will also have words for Steve Austin though, we’re advised not to get our hopes up about seeing Austin outside of Broken Skull Sessions, though. Everything else, you’ll have to tune in for. Funny tweets and Likes get retweeted. Feel free to experiment in this down period. That’s kinda what it’s for. See what works.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
