RAW Tells Us to Get On the Bus. You Know Where We're Going...

Well, I hope. So, there’s not a lot going on but there are some things we can chat about. Let’s get right into it. Should be a short post.

 

Generally speaking, ratings are down in the wrestling world. The conflict in Ukraine and March Madness has everyone distracted. The wrestling world tends to look more like nonsense alongside real issues and real sports. AEW’s Rampage took a serious hit last week. Such is life in the wrestling world. There are only a few of us and if we’re distracted it shows.

 

In WWE news, Bianca Belair appears to be out of action. Word is she’s suffering from some sort of throat injury and is out indefinitely. Of course, there’s speculation this is cover for something else. Others are also wondering if this means she’s out of WrestleMania. I’m not sure how to feel about this just yet. I don’t know how real it is. On top of that, I wonder if they’re figuring out a replacement. If so, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lita gets a second match. People liked their previous match and if kept a secret, it could get a decent pop. I don’t know who else could do that aside from maybe Beth Phoenix. If they go with Phoenix, I’d like to see this as a precursor to calling out Seth Rollins. He did “disrespect” her home. An offense I would be very surprised the Glamazon would let stand. We’ll see what happens.

 

There’s more that I could chat about, but I wouldn’t be invested. It would just be jibber-jabber so on to tonight’s RAW. The big deal tonight is that AJ Styles is coming back to ready himself for a showdown with Edge at WrestleMania. And Kevin Owens will continue to piss people off teasing a Stone-Cold Steve Austin guest spot. It’s the week before the Go-Home Shows so it should start to get more interesting. However, no one is really excited for this year’s WrestleMania. The card is okay at best. It’s all due to a general malaise in the WWE Universe. All this talent and no ideas of what to do with them. Well, they’re going to have to start thinking about ways to have fun or they’ll bore themselves out of business. There’s a way to do this. Let’s hope they stumble upon it soon. Funny tweets and Likes get retweeted. Try to stay openminded. They’re survival depends on it.
