RAW Only Focuses on the Agenda. That Agenda Currently Is Money in the Bank...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Well, I hope. So, this hasn’t been the easiest week for WWE fans but as per usual, life carries on. Let’s see what’s going on, generally speaking, shall we?

So, Mr. Vince McMahon’s appearance on SmackDown served the ratings purpose but many feel it was in poor taste. Well, if WWE’s legal and PR team are any good, those who are feeling bent out of shape may want to reconsider where they are placing their energy. In all likelihood this all blows over. If the lady in question has no issue, there is no issue. More than likely, this sort of thing won’t happen again with the current WWE brass so this is going to be treated like some dirty laundry that got aired. Let’s not fool ourselves and think they don’t have tons of that lying around. If you didn’t know that, consider yourselves informed.

In other news, Sasha Banks is still officially on the WWE roster. Could all this actually be a work after all? Suppose it’s too soon to say but I would dearly hope so. As whatever is going on plays out, it’s clear that my hypothesis of this not amounting to martyrdom is ringing true. Though people are sympathetic, WWE is not being pressured to do anything here. Banks either moves on and possibly comes back later or they work it out now, and she stays. We can only hope that Naomi comes back too because again, I don’t know if life with another promotion is any better. It’s probably a guaranteed pay cut with a fraction of the notoriety. It’s either figure it out or enjoy life in the private sector. We’ll see what happens.

One more thing, for those of you groaning about Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns LV word is that Randy Orton was slated to be this year’s nemesis but we all know that Orton has got back problems and may be out for the rest of the year to recover. And so, enter Lesnar. Well, I already voiced my opinion on Twitter. They’ve had some lackluster showdowns. They owe it to themselves to tear the place down this time. They might as well with all the bitching going around. That’s the cue to shut people up. It’s on them if they don’t deliver.

In any case, that brings us to tonight’s RAW. We are in No Man’s Land until Independence Day Weekend so we’ll see what WWE fills the time with. This evening we can expect to see Elias and Ezekiel. Get the feeling we won’t see them on screen at the same time but I could be wrong. If we do, I bet Elias doesn’t talk. A body double could be found for that. Regardless, if you don’t care about that, Asuka and Becky Lynch will have at for a place in the Money in the Bank Match and we’ll just have to tune in and see what they fill the rest of the 3 hours with. Funny tweets and Likes get retweeted. It may seem like I never do this but I do…I just wait for what actually makes me laugh. Don’t try too hard. Let it come naturally.

See You in a Bit,
