Who's Still Interested in Hell in a Cell?...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

So, here we are for yet another Hell in a Cell PPV and it appears that most wrestling fans are indifferent about the matter. Don’t really blame ‘em but to be honest, this should be viewed as a good sign. Why? Because it’s not due to a bad show, just an uninteresting one.

I hear a lot of talk about “bad booking” and underutilizing talent but this is what I’m getting at. They don’t know what to do with everyone. Haven’t for a while but at least they’re just getting back to basics and seeing what works. That’s why this “revolution” is so lowkey. It’s just the truth. What do you do with these guys/gals? Don’t know. So, it’s trial and error until something starts to click. What else can you do?

At the moment only a few things are “working”. What we know for sure is that Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins shouldn’t disappoint. They decided to nail the assignment so that is the match to watch even though it will be the third time in as many months.

The only real contender, for match of interest anyway, is the Ladies’ Triple Threat with Asuka, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. Now, these ladies shouldn’t view this as competition with the boys but they should just go out and execute the task. It doesn’t really matter who wins because all of these ladies have proven themselves. It would be politic to give it to Belair being the new kid on the block but any of them could win. What matters is that whatever happens after, holds attention.

This is why everyone else has the task of proving themselves this Sunday. They’ve been deemed a yawn. Is that true? Should we just tune in at the end? Well, it’s up to them to demonstrate one way or the other. I guess being boring is better than being bad but either way, no one is in a hurry to see you. If these people want to become relevant, they have to show we’re missing something. We must not be seeing the whole picture. Because if they don’t, they’ve been pegged correctly and in that case, something has to change if they want to keep their chances.

It’s a pretty simple experiment. Those who care or are curious will watch what unfolds live. I will be one of them. So far, there haven’t been too many surprises. Looks like June is a good month to start a few.

See You in a Bit,
