RAW Rings in 2023...

Happy New Year, Enthusiasts!

 

It’s 2023 and we’re about to get a taste of what that means for the WWE Universe. So far, it’s hard to gauge. With what’s going around, it looks like some skeletons may fall out of the closet first. There are some engaging rumors floating around to start off this week. Let’s see what’s going on, shall we?

 

So, what’s going on with Kurt Angle? It appears his ex-wife, Karen Jarrett is ready to tell all. Apparently Angle stepped out a few times back in the day. Not sure where this is all coming from but I can’t help my penchant for gossip. This seems a little after the fact, though. Did they recently split? Because this is the mark of a woman scorned. Perhaps this is a late money grab but I’m not sure how many people really care. I’m not exactly surprised that anyone had an affair at this point. I’m sure it was par for the course at a certain time. The only one who would be a jaw dropper is someone like John Cena. Anyone else comes off like, “What’s new?...”

 

In other news, word is that Sasha Banks is currently a free agent and is free to take gigs from whomever. There’s also speculation going around that Naomi may show up in Japan too. I’m not sure what happened to these ladies. I look at the scenario and I still feel that this was not the wisest decision but perhaps that’s not really the point for them. This may have been more a personal statement for the both of them and I hope it puts them where they need to be in their journeys. We’ll see what happens.

 

And so, that more or less brings us to tonight’s RAW. It’s the first of the year and word is that it’s gonna be a doozy. Not sure how that’s going to translate but initial spoilers aren’t too shocking. It’s early yet, though 😉 We can look forward to Seth Rollins and Austin Theory picking up where they left off. And Bianca Belair will put the RAW Women’s Title on the line against Alexa Bliss. We’ll be looking out for the Bray Wyatt influence on that one. It’s a new year so let’s hope they lay the foundation for it to be a good one. *Fingers Crossed*
