RAW's 30th Anniversary Celebration!!!

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Well, the big news tonight is that it’s RAW’s 30th Anniversary so all the talk is on who’s slated to appear and any potential surprises. We can expect the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair alongside the ubiquitous “and more”. Booker T and Lita are said to be part of the “and more” lot.

While we gear up for that, Grayson Waller kicked up some attention for NXT as he “invited himself” to the WWE Performance Center to rustle up some trouble with Bron Breakker. When I first saw the headline I was like, what happened here but then I got the gist of it and it’s just standard shittalk and tussle fun. 

The social media touch is just a sign of the times. It was fun. Sometimes you gotta go and shake things up. The WWE Universe tends to be tempestuous. It’s conflictual by nature. That’s what we all come here for. To settle numerous differences even if it is just “boredom”. I look forward to more of this “impromptu” action online. The industry has to evolve if it is to survive.

In any case, tonight looks like there will be a lot of action as well as Bayley and Becky Lynch will square off for a good ole fashioned Steel Cage Match. Bobby Lashley will get his hands on Austin Theory again for the US Title and The Usos will have to take some time out from “Tribal Litigation” as they face The Judgment Day for the Tag Team Titles. 

We also have to keep in mind that SmackDown always has the formal duty of segueing us into the PPV of the moment. This week will be no different so, anticipate a lot of this to remain open-ended. It will give us something to look forward to on Saturday. The first big PPV of the year, the Royal Rumble!  I get the feeling this will be a fun one. I think a lot of people have a lot of shit to prove this time around. It should make for good fun. 

And let’s not forget the Bloodline’s Trial of Sami Zayn that is supposed to play out tonight before all the members of the Bloodline that are either still alive or can be fit into the building 😉 We all know they have to rent out a convention center to have their family reunions. To say they “roll deep” is an emphatic understatement. Let us see how they judge Zayn. I wouldn’t say it will be the toughest decision.
