RAW Decides What It's Going to Pack for Puerto Rico (BackLash)

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Monday treating you well? How about the weekend? Was it good? Hope so. I have to say mine was a mixed bag but certainly nothing to complain about. So, as for the Wrestling World, there are few piques of interest circulating. Not too many so this won’t be that long of a post. Let’s get into it, shall we?

So, what’s interesting about today is that tonight’s RAW is in Chicago and you know who’s from Chicago, right? CM Punk and supposedly Punk was at the Allstate Arena “visiting”. Word is that Mr. Vince McMahon is also in attendance tonight and that when he caught wind of Punk’s presence, Punk was informed to depart from the premises, which he did without incident.

Is there more to this story or is Punk just being neighborly? Hard to say. General thoughts are that Punk is set to return to AEW soon so, it could be just a whole bunch of nothing. Many feel that if Punk was asked to leave it was due to his on-going contract with AEW so, there’s that.

Well, if he was asked to leave, that means he wasn’t asked to stop by so I think we can safely assume he’s just visiting but if anything changes, you know we’ll be all over it.

Also, tonight appears to be a night of “important announcements” as Triple H is scheduled to drop some news. Naturally, no one is spilling what it is but I’m sure it’ll be making the rounds by the time I post this so, I’ll catch up later this evening as you all know.

So, that for the most part, brings us to tonight’s episode of RAW. The big appeal tonight is Bad Bunny present to build this feud he’s got going with the Judgment Day. Looks like Rey Mysterio will help him out because Papa Mysterio has a match with Damian Priest. There’s speculation that Cody Rhodes has something special planned for the Chicago crowd but the details are thin at best. Not much is advertised for tonight but they have to ramp things up for BackLash. Next week is Go-Home week. We’ll see if they manage to drum up interest. Smackdown didn’t get a lot of attention last week so there’s incentive. We’ll see what they do.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
