SmackDown Takes Care of Some Business Before Money in the Bank...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! It’s a warm one in my neck of the woods but I suppose that goes for most of the United States. There are a few things to talk about this evening. Not all of them pleasant but noteworthy nonetheless. Shall we get to it? Let me begin. First off, let us all pledge our humble and sincere condolences to The Bloodline and more specifically Roman Reigns as we acknowledge the passing of his father, Sika. I’m sure this came as a bit of a surprise, at least to us as fans as I only heard of his uncle, Afa, having health issues. I’ll be honest, I never saw these gentlemen in action but given the tributes I’ve seen, I’m sure they were something else. I feel for the family and they’re in my prayers and heart as they make their way through this trying time.  In lighter news, some of the veterans of the industry took mild offense at the photo of Wyatt Sicks grabbing some burgers in street clothes and taking photos with fans. The likes of Mark Henry and Bully

RAW Commits to Money in the Bank...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Dealing with another Monday? I am and it’s not bad. Looks like it might amount to something, actually so…can’t complain. I could, but I won’t. In any case, we’ve got a few things we can discuss this evening. Are you up for it? If so, let’s get to it. So, we have to bid farewell to a long time analyst in the form of Kayla Braxton. Not sure where she’s going to but we can rest assured it won’t be to a rival promotion, AEW to be specific. Looks like we’ll see her elsewhere in journalism and we should be happy for her. May the future be prosperous and bright.  For those remaining in the WWE Universe, we have to get used to the Bloodline’s new acquisition in Jacob Fatu. Looks like he doesn’t need much of an introduction because he put himself squarely on the map last Friday to close SmackDown. I’ve seen his work before but I can’t say I was ever that impressed. He seemed a bit cuddly to me. Who’s afraid of this big teddy bear, I thought. But having stormed throu

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! There’s some things to chat about for sure but nothing scintillating, but I think we can have a decent conversation. Shall we get to it? Let’s dive in. So, as many of you know, Wyatt Sicks debuted on RAW and I have reservations at present but I am hopeful that these players can find a way to make themselves interesting, Nikki Cross especially. We know it’s been tough going finding her niche out there. She’s got plenty to offer but how to present her has had WWE Creative scratching their heads. Personally, I was always all for letting her be her “crazy” self but that’s delicate these days with calls for sensitivity towards mental health. This new stable allows for the “crazy” to come out and I think the more bizarre yet understandable they are, I feel they can have a great time out there. All I mean is as long as the “crazy” can be tracked or followed, it’s fine. They should avoid being random.  Why the “massacre” happened must have some stret

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts!   I know that for many this was kind of a “typical Monday” as I ran into some mishaps out and about town. Did you? Anything go haywire at work? Pass a fender bender on the way home? Yeah, it seems like that kinda day. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad one, at least not for us who avoided the mishap. As for the Wrestling World, well you know what we’re gonna talk about. You ready? Let’s go.   So, Clash at the Castle came and went and I’m not sure how the Scots will take this one. I think they may have conflicted feelings after it’s all said and done. They got one with the Women’s Tag Team Championship but the other matches with Piper Niven and Drew McIntyre could have been read as cruel teases. If WWE is not careful, they’ll make Glasgow the international “Philadelphia”, if you get my drift.   However, if WWE has a long-term game plan, this could be forgiven in time. Regardless, it was a good PPV/PLE. I also liked how a das

Clash at the Castle - Matches of Interest

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? What did I miss? Anything good? Well, since I know I’ll be joining after the fact, I figured I might as well knock this out sooner than later. You all know how this sector of the world works. After it’s done, who cares? Yeah, we can play it back but it’s always about what’s next.  So, what’s next? I don’t know and I’m not sure WWE knows either. That’s kinda what’s cool about this time. It’s genuine new territory. And territory we couldn’t get to under the old regime. It is a New Era.  But does that mean it’s better? So far, so good. Yet, this evening should show whether we’re on the right track or need some retooling. Here are my matches of interest.  First, the Ladies offer Piper Niven vs. Bayley and if you ask me, it could go either way. What’s interesting about this is that we have recent commentary from Eric Bischoff stating that Bayley isn’t up to snuff. Her promos should be better is all I really heard. Her matches are solid, though so, it’s coming

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! How is everyone doing? It’s a warm one in Southern California. It’s summer. No doubt about that. As for the Wrestling World, there are some rumblings. Wanna talk about it? All right, here we go. First, let us send our sympathies and get well wishes to Drew McIntyre and his wife. Word is that she had to undergo “emergency surgery”. The timing could or could not be worse depending on what’s planned for tomorrow. At a glance, it could be what McIntyre needs to secure a win. Will Damien Priest continue to spoil people’s day? We shall see.  In the meantime, let us wish her a swift recovery. Elsewhere in the WWE Universe, it appears that Ricochet has officially dropped the new WWE Speed Title to Andrade. Does that indicate his departure is imminent. Will Osprey is definitely putting out an AEW acquisition into the universe as he teases a showdown in their realm. I’ve also heard that New Japan is also interested, so we’ll see what Ricochet decides to do. All the cla

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s another Monday evening and I got some things to contemplate but that’s neither here nor there. We’ve got some other news to discuss don’t we. Let’s get into it.   So, it’s pretty much general consensus that tonight is Ricochet’s last night with WWE. Apparently, an agreement couldn’t be reached for his new contract and so, the decision has been made to part ways. Word is that Ricochet will probably be smashed to bits by Bron Breakker to write him off TV but we’ll see how they do him.   We must also remember that this is go home week for Clash at the Castle. SmackDown will be taped in Scotland so this is the final show stateside before the big show. Not much is formally advertised for tonight. Yet we can expect, Iyo Sky to get some payback for losing out on Queen of the Ring against Lyra Valkyria. Sami Zayn will see if he can get Otis to return to the light. Ilja Dragonov will demonstrate how a smaller guy is supposed to handle a guy like Breakker. An

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts! Happy Friday, everyone. What’s going on? Well, there’s stuff going on as always but only a small bit of it has caught my attention. Got some time to chat about it a little? Let’s toss some talking points around. So, it looks like Bron Breakker is going to get more of a push. Word is that the creative ideas previously percolating for him are going to get revised as he’s playing better than Management expected. I suppose we’ll see how it all plays out.  Personally, I’m not that impressed but I do see his potential. The only concern I have is that he seems a bit one note currently. If they want his star to rise, it can’t fizzle in a couple of months. I’m thinking for now, since he’s pissing off Adam Pearce, he should probably start as some punk kid. Though he is the oldest 25-year-old I’ve ever seen, he’s an upstart up just the same and being a legacy, I’m not surprised he’s strutting around like he already owns the place. He’s cruising for a bruising but who’

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts!   Having a good Monday? Looks like mine is about to get just a bit better but that’s another matter. There are few talking points circulating the Wrestling World. Want to chat about it? Let’s.   So, Becky Lynch is officially a free agent. Word is that Tony Khan offered her a big money deal that would surpass any current female wrestler. Do you think Lynch takes it? Most don’t and I don’t blame them. All that money doesn’t make AEW a better promotion. They still need to work on their presentation while WWE just needs to stay interesting.   One would also think that over time, WWE should probably win out over AEW. Not to say AEW will fail or falter in the future it’s just WWE is established and as long as Lynch performs well, the amount of money possible to earn only goes up. AEW has to focus more on getting fans in the seats. I understand that acquiring someone like Lynch would help that but not if they don’t have enough quality action to keep her busy and c
