SmackDown Has Everyone Do 1 Last Run Before the Rumble...

 How’s It Going Enthusiasts? 

Happy Friday! Well, it’s Royal Rumble Eve and there are a few things we can talk about. It’s going to be a chatty weekend. Are you up for it? Guess, you ought to start to get in the mood. Let’s break some stuff down.

First order of business comes from the Realm of AEW. We’ll let the Death Riders percolate/steep and talk about some administrative news as Saraya’s/Paige’s contract is up this year. According to an interview she did with TMZ, she’s not opposed to a WWE return but commenters feel it’s not realistic. I believe Saraya has one of those residual neck injuries, if I remember correctly, and WWE doesn’t like to mess with those. Having matches would be down to getting medically cleared I would think.

However, seeing how Florence Pugh does a better Paige than Saraya did I would say that’s the real point. I was never really sold on Saraya/Paige and I’m still not so, there would have to be more of a draw, so to speak. I wish her well regardless. Just was never really a big fan. 

In the WWE Universe some concern has arisen for Asuka. It appears some meanie is cyberbullying/harassing her. I don’t know who gets the nerve but apparently WWE and parent company TKO are on the case and are doing what they can to ensure Asuka’s safety. All I can say is for shame! I swear some people just don’t have anything else better to do. Let’s hope this is brought to a rightful close very quickly. 

Well, that’s all I had to kick around. I’ll save the talk for next post for the Rumble. As for tonight’s Go-Home SmackDown we can expect Naomi trying to take a bite out of Liv Morgan. We’ll see how long it takes for Judgment Day to interfere. Jimmy Uso will see what Carmelo Hayes has got. We know he has plenty but they haven’t really got to dancing so, we’ll see how that clicks. Mia Yim will see if she can take the US Championship from Chelsea Green this time. And Kevin Owens will continue to explain himself to Joe Tessitore. You’ll have to tune in if you want the full details. 

The unofficial watch party will start at 8pm PST and remember we’ll be back at it at 3pm PST tomorrow. This should be a fun weekend so let’s go ahead and get comfortable.
