Are We Going to Be Left RAW on this MLK Observance Day?...

Hi Enthusiasts! I hope the bulk of you are enjoying the final hours of a 3-Day weekend and my sympathies if you had to work.  I was once in that boat too.  So, we gather 'round tonight to see if RAW keeps the good momentum going that Smackdown conjured up for it last Thursday.  I'm not sure what to expect, Enthusiasts.  If I get disappointed anywhere, it's usually with RAW but with the internal gauntlet thrown down within the Creative inner workings of the WWE, we could be in for a decent show.  Yet, me being a person that prefers to get the best outcome possible, I will keep my expectations low.  Better to be pleasantly surprised than utterly disappointed (^_~)  Regardless of the content, we can still have fun, yes?  So, let's start the #MST3K Style tweets and get the party going. Funny tweets get retweeted. Funnier ones get a favorite.  Still have yet to be that amused so, let it hang out, Enthusiasts!  That's why we do this. See You in a Bit, -Nicole A

PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Jan. 15th, 2015

How’s it going, Enthusiasts?   Well, I was actually pleasantly surprised with Smackdown, which is nice because I already like what they've been doing. I believe it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it like…make sense for the most part.   Creative has finally decided to tell a linear tale and I almost don’t know what to do with it.   Who knew Daniel Bryan returning would have such a positive impact.   Perhaps it was all in the works to start to revamp things from the get go but, whatever the reason, I’m all for it.   It’s been a long time since I’ve been engaged enough to kinda want to know what happens next and for once in a very long time, I’m actually looking forward to RAW.   The Smackdown “upgrade” is definitely making the RAW “downgrade” transition way more palatable. Speaking of Daniel Bryan, we open this week’s Smackdown in Baton Rouge where we have Byron Saxton in the ring to welcome back our recovered hero.   Bryan approaches the ring triumphantly as the cr

Gotta Get Used to SMACKDOWN Being on a "School Nite"...

S'pose if I can do it for RAW, I can do it for Smackdown (^_~) It's supposed to be a good one tonight, Enthusiasts but as always, we'll be the judges of that.  I'll be on the Tweet Train in a few hours.  Feel free to start now if you're able.  I'll take a look once I'm back at the Ranch.  Funny tweets get retweeted. Funnier ones also get favorited.  Let's have some fun and see if Smackdown  continues to prove me right. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Jan. 12th, 2015)

Greetings, Enthusiasts! So, how did you like the weekly “ Evil Dead” RAW downgrade?  As I said in my previous post, the WWE is listening, watching and trying to appease us and last night was living proof.  As I’ve theorized, though RAW Creative is giving it a solid “college try”, they still come up short to last week’s Smackdown but, as with Evil Dead II, though definitely not as good as Army of Darkness without it, we wouldn’t have got there so, there are some good bits and this week’s RAW did its best to reboot in a way.  But alas,  it’s still not quite hitting the mark.  Yet, the effort is definitely welcome and I hope it continues.  Even though, I get a sneaking suspicion Smackdown will come back around and show ‘em how it’s done but in the meantime, let’s enjoy what we got. As we open in New Orleans, John Cena comes out to set tonight’s tone.   The crowd, as usual, is more against Cena than for but I think as time goes by, some of us do this more for fun than anythin

The Day Is Just About Done...That Means It's Almost Time to Get RAW...

Good Evening, Enthusiasts. Did this Monday treat you well?  Can't complain on my side but, I'm ready for the weekly "downgrade" to RAW.   I get the feeling we'll get some Hall of Fame updates given what's been circulating about the internets. Well, The "Macho Man" was an eccentric figure and well recognized so a Hall of Fame induction seems about right.  I missed out on him, personally but I'm sure he was a lot of fun. Anyway, Enthusiasts RAW will be coming to us from New Orleans, I hear so, the festivities are underway.  I'll be checking the tweets once I get back to the homestead. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try your hand at some quips.  I'll scroll through before I settle in for the West Coast show. Funny tweets get retweeted and funnier ones get a favorite too.  Have fun out there! #MST3KStyle See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis (^_~)

PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night…Jan. 9th, 2015

What’s up, Enthusiasts? Last night was the final Friday airing of  Smackdown,  coming to us from Laredo , TX .  This was one of the good ones, fellow Enthusiasts and it supported my Evil Dead   II  → Army of Darkness theory quite nicely.  It’s never bad when facts support your argument.  In any case, SmackDown did its job of helping us keep the faith and started laying down the groundwork for this year’s hijinks.  I was thoroughly entertained throughout.  Though the “Revolution” may not be the sweeping change it tends to be in this case, it is clear that the WWE is listening, watching and trying to figure out what it takes to not only keep us coming back for more but, remain the pinnacle of the Wrestling Institution as entertainment. We open SmackDown with Seth Rollins and J&J Security coming out to remind us of the favor he did us all in bringing The Authority back.  He alludes that the only side to get with is the one with power for that side can do you favors.  He he

Let Us Bid The Friday Night SMACKDOWN Farewell...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! Those of us who prefer staying in tonight or just getting started later (^_~) will watch the final Friday Smackdown and prepare for the Thursday changeover.  I'm kinda looking forward to it.  Frees up my Friday night but, I do like how it served as a perfect end to my work week.  Anyway, the spoilers are promising.  Let's hope it lives up to the hype.  So, if you're feeling frisky and got some witty quips just aching to be publicized, shoot 'em out on the Twitters and if I see 'em and they're funny, I'll retweet it and pass it a long.  Those that are particularly on point will be favorited, as well.  Don't try too hard but, you know, put some thought into it. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Jan. 5th, 2015)

Hello Enthusiasts!  Well, yesterday was Monday and we all gathered 'round to see what RAW would do to inaugurate 2015.  Knowing that The Authority has been reinstated, it was anyone’s guess what would transpire.  Yet, I think what RAW did accomplish, so far anyway, is serve as the proverbial “Bad Cop” to what I can only hope would be SmackDown’s “Good Cop” but I think a better analogy may be seeing RAW as a continuous Evil Dead II and SmackDown as a never-ending Army of Darkness .  Just go along with me on this one for a minute… RAW opens with the entire roster in and around the ring, somewhat patiently waiting for John Cena it would appear.  He has a statement he wants to make.  Since he’s the “Team Leader” in whatever degree you want to call him, he feels it’s his responsibility to apologize for bringing back The Authority.  His hands were tied, what could he do *record screeches to a halt* The Authority’s / Triple H’s entrance music hits and he and Stephanie McMah
