Will It Be a MITB SmackDown to Remember?...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How’s it Hanging, Enthusiasts!

Well, RAW managed to toss together a decent show with Samoa Joe putting his veteran status to good use against the “Beast Incarnate”, Brock Lesnar.   The whole program was entertaining enough.  I didn’t “booo” where it wasn’t necessary and don’t feel too bad about this upcoming Great Balls of Fire.  I did find it interesting that word on the street is that Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins came out and did a lackluster dark match.  I find the placement of it odd.  I can understand down-playing Wyatt with his personal dilemma transpiring in the background yet, though the West Coast may not have the biggest fan backing for the WWE, Los Angeles is a great place to get seen.  It behooves a wrestler to put on a good show for who might be watching, whether televised or not.  I wonder if that’s more due to inside politics or something.

In any case, SmackDown takes a jaunt down the 5 down to San Diego's Valley View Center, to be exact.  Me being a San Diego native, I still remember this venue as the Sports Arena but I certainly don't oppose the Casino's acquisition.  Anyway, the Women’s Money in the Bank re-match is scheduled for tonight and I hope they earn some street cred with it.  Though I don’t mind Carmella’s “stick it to ya” heel-angle, I really don’t think that was the best way to inaugurate this event.  Maybe by the third one in, stunts like that wouldn’t seem like such an affront but conversely, it did create a reaction so, I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much.   As usual, we’ll see what they do with it.  Funny tweets get retweeted and a Favorite will find its way to us when the Gods deem fit.

See You in a Bit,
