A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts! So, the “Greatest Royal Rumble Ever” was a great spectacle indeed but it wasn’t the greatest show…maybe the greatest exhibition but I wasn’t exactly blown away by any of the matches.   I enjoyed myself, though and that’s what is beginning to be the point for me.   Perhaps one has to look to Ring of Honor or New Japan for one’s wrestling “meat &  potatoes”, the WWE Universes is more about the pomp and circumstance and pomp and circumstance is what we got. Naturally, the honorary award goes to Titus O’Neil for being the funniest spot, though completely unintentional.   Got a little overzealous on his entry there.   It was no surprise that Braun Strowman took home the gold, I just would have preferred him coming in at like #10 and let him bounce people out until the end.   At least make him work for it, is what I say.   The “actual” point of contention that will probably be addressed to some degree tonig...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! So, today we witness the “Greatest Royal Rumble Ever” and to be honest, I have no idea what to expect.   When I think about it, it’s basically an exhibition so, maybe it’ll be like an over-the-top Tribute to the Troops sort of feel.   They can kinda go out there and have a bunch of fun. So, I guess that just leaves predictions.   Hmm, let me see… For the Steel Cage match, to me it’s funny.   Everyone was bitching and moaning about Roman Reigns.  Straight boo his existence when he makes his appearance at WrestleMania.   Their boos heard, the match is lost to Brock Lesnar and now everyone is like, why didn’t he win?   That’s not a good look, Enthusiasts.   Makes us look like we don’t know what we want and on top of that, we’re just fussy too.   I don’t really care who wins here.   Just want a good match but seeing how they’re bandying about a Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match, I’m thinking it makes ...

Good Evening, Enthusiasts. So, RAW delivered enough to lead us into this Greatest Royal Rumble ever but I’ll admit, other matters had me distracted for most of it so I won’t harp on it too much.   What I will say is that the pairing of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre looks to make its money back.   And it’s anyone’s guess as to who will win this Arabian Rumble.   Looking like Brock Lesnar for the Steel Cage Match, though so, let’s hope they at least make it interesting. As for tonight, SmackDown serves as the official Go-Home show for the Greatest Royal Rumble Ever and thankfully, they don’t have to do any clean-up but they do have to keep the momentum going.   What’s slated so far is the in-ring debut of Asuka as she teams up with Becky Lynch to give those upstarts The Iconics “what fer!”   Charlotte and Carmella will have a contract signing since Carmella finally cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and is now wearing the SmackDown Women’s title. ...

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts! So, this week we have RAW and SmackDown gearing us up for this here, “Greatest Royal Rumble” ever over in Saudi Arabia. Now, there’s not much to discuss here aside from the spectacle so, how they’re going to ready us should be…interesting?   It’s hard to say.   If this is supposed to be “great”, how are they going to get us salivating?    Well, I suppose that’s for us to wait and see. There’s not much advertised for tonight’s RAW other than an appearance from Brock Lesnar. Outside of that, no matches have been set so, we’ll see if they can build some suspense.   Word has it that a Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley match is being debated which leads me to think that Lesnar will continue to hold the title after this Steel Cage Match with Roman Reigns.   Not a bad idea in my opinion.   Until they iron out the kinks with Reigns they might as well stick to more blatant match-ups.   Not to say that Reigns should co...
