Greatest Royal Rumble Now Complete, RAW Is Now onto Other Things...

So, the “Greatest Royal Rumble Ever” was a great spectacle indeed but it wasn’t the greatest show…maybe the greatest exhibition but I wasn’t exactly blown away by any of the matches.  I enjoyed myself, though and that’s what is beginning to be the point for me.  Perhaps one has to look to Ring of Honor or New Japan for one’s wrestling “meat & potatoes”, the WWE Universes is more about the pomp and circumstance and pomp and circumstance is what we got.

Naturally, the honorary award goes to Titus O’Neil for being the funniest spot, though completely unintentional.  Got a little overzealous on his entry there.  It was no surprise that Braun Strowman took home the gold, I just would have preferred him coming in at like #10 and let him bounce people out until the end.  At least make him work for it, is what I say. 

The “actual” point of contention that will probably be addressed to some degree tonight is the “controversial” end to the Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns match.  Personally, I liked this ending a lot.  It provides the backdrop for a better story, that is, if they utilize this opening.  They often leave great opportunities hanging.  Hopefully, they go ahead and give this guy some direction.  This is the opportunity for Reigns to get fed up and start a “personal revolution” or something.  Tired of this shit, he starts singing a new tune.  You know, something to that effect and it can officially start with Samoa Joe as he focuses in on overcoming his albatross in Brock “Gun Jack” Lesnar.   That’s something we all can work with.  We’ll see what they do.

As for tonight there are no official matches advertised but Ronda Rousey is scheduled to appear so, there’ll be that and I guess this Greatest Royal Rumble fallout.  Gotta redirect towards BackLash, now.  Are you up for it?  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, if the proper ingredients are present, there’s no telling of the delights.
