And SmackDown?...What Does Your WrestleMania Fallout Have to Offer?...

Happy Good Friday, Enthusiasts!

I’m an agnostic myself but I respect the generally practiced holidays.  Is it going good for you?  Stir crazy yet?  I’ll be honest, I’m getting tired of staring at these walls.  Anyway so, for SmackDown tonight we have Braun Strowman announcing his tenure of being Universal Champion for the foreseeable future and you know what, they should have fun with that.  He shouldn’t become a bully with it but it should be clear you’re going to have do more than weigh more than 250lbs to take it off him.  He should get a little cocky.  Let’s face it, if this was any kind of realistic, there aren’t many who could actually do it.  Some of these guys do have a Boxing and/or MMA background and those guys should have the biggest chance at taking him out so, if the WWE is wise, they won’t put Roman Reigns back up there for the title just yet.

Now, that doesn’t mean Reigns goes running back to Baron Corbin, though I do believe that should be an on-going feud.  Just hear me out.  My reasoning is that Corbin comes off as the quintessential Punk-Ass Big Brother.  Since Reigns is younger and shorter, Corbin should basically treat him and anyone else who qualifies as the Unfortunate Little Brother but you can see why this could be a particular thorn in Reigns’ side.  It’s probably best to pull the trigger on the Bray Wyatt feud for Reigns; my only condition is that if they utilize The Fiend, Reigns doesn’t buy it.  Let that be something he and Goldberg have in common outside of the Spear.  Reigns doesn’t seem the type to get caught up in much psycho-babble.  Wyatt could use this to his advantage but I ultimately see a Reigns doing his best to cut through his bullshit.  Let them get creative with it.  They may pleasantly surprise us.  And, as of now, if they’re taping, they can stage it right at least.  They’ll have to keep to bashing each other up once we get back to real time, if this quarantine doesn’t last that long.  If anything, they proved that’s the way to go in IRL if they choose to do so.

As for the rest of the advertised action, we have the customary PPV rematch of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross facing off against the Kabuki Warriors.  That shouldn’t be too bad.  The rest we’ll have to speculate.  RAW wasn’t bad though you can tell that some of the wrestlers are having a hard time adjusting to the absent crowd but I do like how everyone is focusing more on clean execution.  Hopefully, this isn’t lost when we return to real time action.  These few weeks have been eye-opening because it is clear that the roster has depth and the players are very talented so I think we should get better material out of Creative just so they can stay employed.  And with people making cuts left and right, getting the axe may be a real threat.  See how necessity is the Mother of Invention?  The 2 sides have been given time to learn how to really collaborate.  Let’s hope they don’t let the opportunity slide.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites well, let’s not be too critical.  It is an experimental time but try to be constructive in your burns.  And don’t think a commendation can’t get celebrated.  The true key to getting acknowledgement is being funny.

See You in a Bit,
