RAW Attempts to Nail the Go Home Show for TLC...

A Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts.

Another week down. Let’s try to make ‘em good ones for the rest of the year. Can’t hurt, right? So, here we are, the Go Home Show for TLC 2020. SmackDown laid it down last Friday and now RAW has to not only keep pace but up the ante for TLC. Can they do it? They have no choice but to try.

This being the final PPV of a contemptible year, I hope WWE has fun with this. Of course, I want better content saved for the Royal Rumble but that doesn’t mean TLC can’t be some fun. I’m not even going to begin to throw out any ideas. Gotta see what they come up with first. All I’m saying is that they should just let her rip is all. Might as well. Show this year what for by going out with a bang.

Anyway, as for current gossip, there’s not much that’s piqued my interest. There’s a lot of talk about Kenny Omega right now since he’s promotion hopping at the moment. I think it’s very novel of him and for some reason, I think he’s the only one right now who can actually get away with it. I haven’t seen much of his matches but I know who the man is and he’s basically just doing what he’s always done, be a professional, Independent wrestler. I don’t know if it’s his thing to not work under WWE but I think he should try to take this there too. He could pick a fight with AJ Styles or Daniel Bryan someday. Just show up as a free agent. Maybe they could do it for a WrestleMania in a few years. I’d be down. Maybe some unilateral title could be created that could be contested across all the major promotions. The match could be held by AEW, New Japan, WWE, Impact and maybe Ring of Honor. Each promotion could have a tournament to choose their contender and through a process of elimination whittle down the pack to 2 finalists. It would be a good way to get some attention for everyone involved. Naturally, WWE could be viewed as trying to dominate the tradition. It could add a 3rd dimension to this wrestling industry. I know the time for this isn’t right but I think it’s something that should be aspired towards.

On a side note, to add to the news going around that all the WWE big dudes have been sent back for additional training, a lot commenters have been calling for Nia Jax to do the same. Personally, I think she’s getting a lot of unnecessary flak. She can’t help that skinny women are skinny women. They have to protect themselves more when playing with her. Her job is to treat them like ragdolls. Yes, there are ways to safely do this but I don’t believe she’s not being careful. Like when Becky Lynch broke her nose. I didn’t blame Jax ‘cause when you go back and look at the footage, Lynch ran into her fist. Jax really didn’t put too much into it. She’s probably only responsible for a fraction of what she’s getting blamed for. The little bitties signed up for the gig. They are going to be bumps. If they want to keep from getting hurt, put on a few pounds.

In any case, let’s bring it back to RAW. With Alexa Bliss off in Hollywood, Bray Wyatt will have to continue his duties solo for the time being. He stirs the pot for Randy Orton. Keith Lee is going to get some TV time. Nia Jax will see if she can put Lana through something other than a table and AJ Styles will try Sheamus on for size. He’s also got something for Drew McIntyre but that is supposed to be a “surprise”. We'll see if it’s a good one. Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes, let’s keep a discerning eye. RAW has a job to do. The way SmackDown is playing you’d think someone put real cash on the table. Let’s see if RAW is using Monopoly money.

And on another side note, my latest article is up. If you’ve been keeping up, I’m sure you’ll notice a bit of a theme. Liv Morgan is up for discussion this time around. Looks like she’s chosen a direction. Let’s see if she can make something of herself. That is the key. If she’s expecting WWE to do it for her, she’s going to be disappointed. I’m sure she’s a sweet girl but she’s got to get “bad-ass” slipped in there as well. We’re a fighting people.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
