RAW Applies the New Narrative...Hell in a Cell...

Happy Monday to You, Enthusiasts.

I hope it finds you well. So, there are some things floating around the wrestling world. Are you ready to get into it? It’s not that much. You can handle it.

The most interesting news is that Ric Flair is training for one more match in Nashville during Summer Slam week. I don’t know what makes him think that people want to see his old-ass wrestle again. He’s way too old. It’s just fact. The whole thing screams of desperation not nostalgia. All people want him to do is live out his golden years in peace. I would honestly question anyone who would want to watch that match. It lends more to sick curiosity than a must-see show. Hopefully, someone can get some sense into the man before it’s all too late.

The other bit of news wafting through is that Roman Reigns is planning to become a part-timer. Well, it sounds more like he’ll be given a little more freedom with his schedule than anything else which I guess is fine. I wouldn’t go so far to say he’s earned it but it does help bolster his Heel status, taking entitled liberties and such. News like this can easily be used against him in Face/Opponent promos so I hope they play it up.

What intrigues me more is the sentiment that Naomi may join The Bloodline. This makes perfect sense since she’s married to Jimmy Uso. I would think Tamina would follow. Might as well. I wouldn’t think she’d prefer to stick to the campy bits with the 24/7 Title. I also feel that Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch should be honorary members or at the very least allies. True, Rollins and Reigns went at it recently but that should be par for their course. The Brotherhood of the Shield should always count for something no matter what. We also know that Rollins inherently can’t be trusted so “betrayal” is always just around the corner but in terms of the WWE Universe, that means they have the option should they choose to use it.

They should always adhere to their own lore. That is how you solidify the WWE Universe. I keep saying they need to formalize how it works/operates. Have the Laws stated, reiterated so it’s just not what fans glean. Make it official. This is the WWE Universe and this is how it operates. Then you have fans looking to see if WWE sticks to its own rules or remains “random”. That may cut down on the general ridicule. What’s to scrutinize if WWE meant to do that? It’s just a suggestion.

Anyway, we have the slow trek to Hell in a Cell in June and to start it off, Omos and Bobby Lashley will have at in Steel Cage. Asuka and Becky Lynch will circle Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. And Rollins will continue to eye Cody Rhodes for personal redemption. For everything else, we’ll have to watch and see. Funny tweets and Likes get retweeted. We have about 3 weeks before we get to the next PPV so make yourselves comfortable and see what comes to the surface. I find it works best when you don’t force it.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
