RAW Tries a Few Things...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

You doing all right out there. There’s not a lot catching my interest in the wrestling world so this should be a short post. Let’s get into what is piquing interest shall we?

So, Roman Reigns and Logan Paul had their press conference in Las Vegas over the weekend just like for a real fight and it wasn’t without it’s “drama”. I actually liked the “confrontation” between Paul and Reigns, mainly because of Triple H. He handled it like it’s supposed to be handled in the WWE Universe and it added just the right amount of “bite” to the exchange.

I found this interesting because in my last post I was commenting on how we can’t sell “toxic” anymore. You’d think they’d be more chiding chatter for Reigns shoving Paul after Paul ran his mouth but no, it played just as it should have. Building interest for the “fight”. The old trick worked and I’m glad. We like to be rough and tumble over here. If they can’t do that, what’s the point? It’s nice to see some things still work like a charm.

That said, Paul’s brother Jake Paul has entered the chat as he’s posting some interesting tweets that could lead up to a Paul Brothers collaboration in Saudi Arabia. Jake doesn’t get a lot of love either but I can see them working together to get Paul a DQ win. It’d be fair in a match like this since The Bloodline have made it clear that they don’t care if the win is clean. It’s all about family apparently 😉 So, it’s only natural that Paul gets some back up from his bro. It could also begin a bit of a feud that could be lit up from time to time. They could have a lot of fun with it. I hope that’s what happens. Might as well make the most of it.

There are other things I could get into but most of what’s going around is more rumor and speculation than usual so why knock around the what-ifs. Might as well write fan fiction. In any case, as for tonight’s RAW. WWE is doing their West Coast tour and find themselves in San Jose, CA this evening. What’s being advertised is that Kevin Owens is going to continue to get in Austin Theory’s face. And Bobby Lashley means to rule well so he’ll put the US Title on the line against Seth Rollins. We’re in No Man’s Land for the rest of the month so keep on the look out for who shines. This is the time to.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
