And Now, the Royal Rumble 2020...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts!

It will soon be time for the Royal Rumble and strangely enough, it is marred by the shocking news of the death of Kobe Bryant of all people.  It’s the shock of it more than anything else.  It’s not the sort of distraction you want going into an event like this.  You’re more stunned than devastated and that could pull focus away from tonight’s event.  Not sure what the WWE can do to counter other than stay loose and hopefully the roster can keep their heads in it.  I suppose now a good angle to shoot for is to distract from the distraction.

Well, if any event can do that, it’s the Royal Rumble.  Now, this is WWE Universe case specific.  I don’t expect the layperson to have a care presently but the We as in We the Audience are always up for some fun in the WWE Universe and The Rumble tends to be one of the more fun events they have to offer.  That being said, the fun often comes in the form of the surprises that jog down the ramp and this year shouldn’t disappoint or at least, they should have made an attempt to have some more special surprises than usual.  It being 2020 and all, might as well go for it a bit.  I don’t have too many speculations but I do feel that we may be able to expect Edge to return.  Word is that he’s been jonesing to get back into the WWE swing.  Guess the TV gigs aren’t doing it for him and with Beth Phoenix working commentary, why not come back to the fold.  Don’t mind it at all.  As for any other potential returns, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Kaitlyn.  Heard she’s been training for a return for a while and you know what, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get AJ Lee as well.  I know she said she was done but that’s the best thing to say.  In the event that you do return, it’s a true surprise.  

As the saying goes, no one ever really leaves the WWE.   I don’t know what it is but it’s that sort of club that calls you back from time to time.  There really isn’t any other place like the WWE Universe.  It definitely operates under its own rules and you can’t beat the rush of a great night.  And tonight is one of the best nights to get a taste of it.  Let’s get ready to lose ourselves, Enthusiasts.  The Rumble is upon us!   Funny tweets will definitely get retweeted and for those of you who become touched by genius, your contribution will be Liked/Favorited as well as retweeted, a special distinction indeed.  Not many have achieved it.   Let’s change that, starting now.
