RAW's Real Test - Elimination Chamber Go-Home Show...
Evening
Enthusiasts!
How
is this Monday treating you? I’ve had
worse Mondays that’s for sure. Anyway,
let’s get right to it, shall we? So, SmackDown went there last Friday and
booked Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns for what looks like WrestleMania. Now, there is a good chance The Fiend may be
intervening between now and then but as of now, he’s set for John Cena. We may not have to prep ourselves for a
Spear-a-thon just yet, but this development is compelling. I have to give it to Goldberg, he sold his
shit. I believed him way more than I
ever believed The Fiend and I appreciated his no-nonsense approach. If you ask me, The Fiend needs to take a page
out of that book. Less of this “Mandible
Claw” crap and more solid beatdowns.
That’s what this crowd unilaterally understands. All I think of with the Mandible Claw is how
unsanitary it appears. Who knows where his
hand has been? Does he wash those
gloves? I can at least buy the Goldberg outcome.
Yet,
that does mean someone has to take out Uncle Goldberg and that’s where it gets
tricky. As I said on the Twitters, how
can you do this with a sense of merit?
As it stands currently, Reigns could be viewed more or less as a
geriatric bully. How is this not
considered “elder abuse”? Granted, Goldberg is in his 50s and is far from the old folks’ home, but it does look a
bit…unfair. I’m curious to see how they’ll
even this match-up out.
As
for tonight’s RAW, well it is
technically the Go-Home Show for Elimination Chamber. What we can hope to expect should take shape
tonight. But first thing is first, what
we know for sure is that Ms. Beth Phoenix will grace us with her fabulous presence
to give us an update on Edge’s “recovery”.
Hopefully he put on 10 – 15lbs ‘cause that’s all I could see that could
use some improvement. Getting back into
shape left him looking hungry. Should
get some padding on the bones if he’s gonna take bumps again. We’ll also see if Randy Orton really has no
limits.
The
other bit of news circulating about tonight is that Asuka was scheduled to box
Shayna Baszler but word is that Asuka has a sprained wrist. So, boxing duties fall to Kairi “Little Minx”
Sane. Well, this may work out better
than we think since Sane has more recent experience with Baszler. Besides, her cheeky personality reads loud
and clear. It should be fun to watch
regardless.
We
also have a match between AJ Styles and Aleister Black to look forward to,
along with a tag team throwdown. Seth
Rollins and Buddy Murphy will throw the tag team titles back up for grabs in a
rematch with The Street Profits from the Super Showdown and this Riddick Moss
character is going to let someone have at the 24/7 Title. We’ll see if this sets us up for some Sunday
action. Funny tweets get retweeted and
as for Likes/Favorites well, RAW has
been solid recently so hopefully they keep it going for a Go-Home
Show. Feel free to talk shit if they
miss the mark. They know what time it
is.
See
You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
