RAW Had a Little Relapse. Think It Will Recover?...

A Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts!

My goodness, this was an interesting week. Trash bag incidents, Big Cass gets a new gig over at Impact and Kenny Omega takes the Impact title. Times are a changing. It should be viewed as a good sign. There should be no limit to what’s possible and in these events are hints of just that. I’m not going to break these down because it’s just the news of day sort of thing. I don’t really feel any one way about them. But I do continue to find Omega freelancing around town interesting. WWE should also be a possibility. Maybe that could be used to keep Daniel Bryan interested. Omega could defy all odds and step foot as an independent pro-wrestler on WWE soil. Get into a feud with Bryan and give Bryan a reason to show up on AEW. I don’t really know why he would want to go to Impact but perhaps he could do a gig or 2 in Japan. I’m rooting for him. I hope he gets that sort of leniency. He’s certainly earned it.

As for the WWE Universe, we tune in tonight to see if RAW can make up for last week. It’s been a while since SmackDown actually had to clean-up after them. RAW hasn’t exactly impressed but it’s been palatable for about 6 months. We have to start counting the days again. It wasn’t too long ago that was the norm. WWE can’t really have that sort of slip up regularly anymore, too many options. Be thankful. Forces them to be accountable for themselves. Just because this is the lull after WrestleMania doesn’t mean they have the clearance to suck. I can forgive experimentation and simple trial and error but last week was just a shit show, flat out. They should be ashamed of themselves, really. WrestleMania was the best I’ve seen in real time. They really want to maintain that momentum for as long as possible and you could just see that RAW either didn’t give a shit or didn’t know how to keep it going. Either way, no bueno.

As for tonight’s action, not much is advertised. It sounds like there will be a 6-Woman-Tag later on but that’s unconfirmed. Bobby Lashley is supposed to return to formally address his reign and plan. Drew McIntryre and Braun Strowman will see if they can play nice together as they face the unmasked Mace & T-Bar. And the ladies will see if they can up the ante some since no one else seems to know what to do. Funny tweets will get retweeted and as for Likes, well…let’s see what we get. Don’t expect much and don’t hold back. They should know better with the times as they are. If they’re going to phone it in, they might as well just set a dumpster on fire. At least that way we can see that’s what they’re going for.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
