RAW Just Want's to Touch Up a Few Things...

How Goes It, Enthusiasts?

Doing well? So, there are a few things going on in the wrestling world but they’re pretty much a holdover from last week. Let’s see if we got any more information to work with.

We left off with the CM Punk question and it continues. Is he really disgruntled or is it just a work to build up a feud with Hangman Page? Can’t say. The talk makes it seem as if it could be either or. Perhaps it started as real beef and mutated into a work. Who knows. I’m not familiar enough with the situation or Page to make a statement. All I can really say is that I’d say it’s a work before anything else.

If Punk understands the concept of Kayfabe, then anything he says on TV would ultimately be a work unless he’s conducting an interview outside of the wrestling world. Kayfabe protects wrestlers if implemented correctly and I would think Punk is savvy enough to keep the truth obscured for his own good. Though Punk has the rep. of being temperamental, I think he rather stay in control for the most part and the best way to do that is to make sure the public only knows what he wants it to know. How else better to do that than with Kayfabe? We’ll see what happens.

In the WWE Universe, Toxic Attraction was brought up only to be sat back down. It appears they’re out of the Women’s Tag Team Tournament “due to injury”. The speculation is that this is to prep the way for a surprise return from Sasha Banks and Naomi but we will see there as well. In the meantime, Alexa Bliss & Asuka will take on Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky in the semi-finals.

So, that brings us to tonight’s RAW. We’re still in Canada so Trish Stratus will be around to honor the visit. Edge will also be in action because it’s been about 12 years since he’s boxed in Toronto. He’ll continue to not stand Damian Priest and the usurped Judgment Day. There’s more on the docket but we will have to watch to find out what it all is. Funny tweets and Likes get retweeted. It’s the week before Go-Home week so we’ll witness what little tidbits they’ll drop to lead us across the pond. Let’s see if they’re tasty.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
