RAW Sends Those Scheduled Abroad for Crown Jewel V. Everyone Else Can Go Home...
How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?
Everything all right for a Monday? Well
there are some subtle things floating around at the beginning of this week.
My interests are more broad so, if you’re more of a diehard fan I may sound
like I’m talking out of my ass but I’m only interested in certain things and
only a couple of things caught my interest. Care to talk about them?
First item of business comes from the
Land of MLW. Apparently, they have a faction call the Samoan Swat Team and yes,
they do have some Bloodline ties. They were backing Jacob Fatu (The Usos’ and Reigns’
other cousin) but now, it looks like they’re free agents. Lance Anoa’i, as you
can gather, is a cousin of Roman Reigns not sure if there is a direct relation to
The Usos and it appears that Juicy Finau is a Tongan “adoptee”. Could we see
them make their way as bit players in the Bloodline in the coming months? 🤷 I guess we
shall see.
Following the Reigns theme, the wrestling
trades are picking up a whiff of potential long-term storytelling as they’re noticing Seth Rollins’ sentiments on Reigns. If you can recall, last week
Rollins made it very clear he aims to be nothing like Reigns. We already
see that in his willingness to defend the Title despite having a totaled back.
Is this deliberate stirring of the pot? Could be. Should be to a continuity
extent.
We all know their history so, there
should always be some shit to say from the both of them. Yet, whether it’s good
or bad should always be contingent on what’s going on. So, as of now, Rollins
is the “better man” because he is at least defending his Title regularly.
Reigns is basically holding his hostage so there’s plenty of shit to talk. As
of now, Rollins’ take is valid. Should matters change, so should their
discourse. The option to fight should always be there. Whether it happens should
always be another matter.
Since that’s all I got to chat about,
that brings us to tonight’s RAW. This week’s SmackDown is already
recorded so we can anticipate people starting to make their way over to Riyadh.
There doesn’t appear to be any contingencies given the tensions in the region so
lets hope and pray that the Saudis have it covered. I would imagine they have
this on lock but you never know. Word of rogue factions have me a little nervous.
Nevertheless, everything seems to be going as scheduled so I’ll just pipe down.
For tonight, we have some fun matches
to look forward to. Natalya and Chelsea Green are invoking the Halloween Spirit
and are set to have a Trick or Street Fight. They’ve been jabbing at each other
on social media so they’re having fun with it. Ricochet will learn Dominik
Mysterio a thing or 2. The new kids in Candace LeRae and Xia Li will show us what
they got. We’ll get some technical mastery from the likes of Tommaso Ciampa a.k.a.
Engywook III and Johnny Gargano as they face Imperium sans GUNTHER.
Looks like The Miz has him booked for “MizTV”. And I’m guessing our main event
is Seth Rollins seeing if JD McDonaugh is worth his time.
If you want all the other bits and
pieces you’ll have to watch. I’ll be joining with the West Coast in about 15 minutes. You are always welcome to partake of the unofficial watch party. This
is how I spend my Monday nights. Makes Tuesday just that much easier.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
