2019 Begins with SMACKDOWN!

Happy New Year Again, Enthusiasts!

I hope the bulk of you arent done in with hangovers.  Regardless, we welcome 2019 with a taped episode of SmackDown and the main feature is the return of John Cena.  Now, I know were all a littleunsure of how to best approach this situation and Im not sure easing him back into the pool with a Mixed Tag alongside Becky Lynch against Cien Almas and Zelina Vega is the best way to get him back to where he was.  Not sure you can becausethe truths kinda out.  Unfortunately, somewhere down the line, Mr. Cena lost touch.  I playfully refer to it as being in Cena-ton.  Understand that any celebrity may come down with a case of this.  I believe Kanye West is the best general example.  Hes been in Yeezy City for quite some time.  The advent of fame and fortune has decidedly changed their reality and they lose touch with the Common Person.  I feel that Cena has lost touch with basic living to the degree it may be hard to relate to We the Audience in general.  Hes now WWE Spokesperson more than anything else.  A way they could combat this to some degree is again, by implementing a little humor.  Maybe allow Cena to make fun of himself a little.  Maybe all matches now require opponents to sign a 5-Page Contract stipulating the terms of the match.  Matches could be not so seriously disputed because the clause on page 4, paragraph 3 wasnt honored and so on and so forth.  He could more playfully be the caricature of himself so that we know that he knows that we know, you know 😉  Its just a suggestion.

As for other aspects of tonights content, the thing that jumps out most is that theres a Fatal-5-Way planned with Mustafa Ali, Rey Myseterio, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and the final opponent to be decided by a match between Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe.  This could be an interesting go round.  The rest will have to prove it.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, lets see if 2018s leavings suffice for the start of 2019.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
