SmackDown IS ALWAYS Ready...

Happy Tuesday, Enthusiasts!

Well, RAW left us with some drama of the “see you next time” variety so we’ll see if SmackDown keeps the momentum going.  I wouldn’t say that it was a bad show but the “little things” were a little prevalent last night.  When I say the, “little things”, I tend to mean the things that tend to make one wonder why they do what they do or make a person question this genre in the first place.  We all know that the WWE Universe is a unique place but it does have its own patterns and rules.  These patterns and rules aren’t readily recognizable to the layman.  The question of how to keep this interesting and relevant to new fans hovered a little bit in the air, I thought.  We all have to admit that we can look at this stuff and think it’s stupid sometimes.  Last night’s main event did play a little cornily.  Not to mention how they have a grown-ass man, in his 5o's still putting on a Halloween costume to "scare" us.  Trust me, Dad (Kane) is scary enough as he is.  In increasingly scrutinizing times, I wonder how the WWE plans to survive.

Well, I digress.  In the meantime, SmackDown does its usual job of bringing sense to these sorts of matters.  Mojo Rawley plans to shed more of his former skin in a bid for the US Title as he fights for a spot in the tournament.  Becky Lynch is set to knock off some ring rust against Ruby Riott and The Ascension are going to suggest the Bludgeon Brothers get new outfits.  There’s sure to be more for us to take in but, they’re gearing up for the Royal Rumble so we’ll have filler until we get closer to the Go-Home shows.  We’ll, as always, see if they manage to keep it interesting in the meantime.  Funny tweets get retweeted and Likes/Favorites are just waiting for you to create them.

See You in a Bit,
