SmackDown Isn't Obligated to Do RAW a Solid, You Know...

A Good Evening to You, Enthusiasts!

How’s this Friday for you?  Well, tonight we get tape delayed fare from Manchester, England as we settle in for the annual UK stint.   It will be interesting how our “hooligan” brethren take to the on-going changes.  Well, since this is the UK tour, this won’t entirely be an exhibition but there will be some tinges of the sentiment.  Yes, I could go look at spoilers but I don’t need to know that badly.  I can wait.

So, what awaits us?  We already know that Baron Corbin and Roman Reigns are going to throwdown.  I’m not sure if they’ve got any beef to go on besides Corbin being a heel but if they have fun with it, we shouldn’t complain.  Also, at some point tonight Nikki Cross will continue to keep a light burn on the minor feud she has with Sasha Banks and The Revival will box to keep their Tag Team Titles.  Now, RAW wasn’t particularly great this past Monday but it wasn’t bad as much as it seemed somewhat “phoned in”.  People appeared to more mark the show than play it out.   No one wants to see a lackluster performance so, SmackDown has to show that it knows how to play and comes out to do just that every week.  Yet, given the nature of RAW’s fail, it doesn’t necessarily need to save it.  With Survivor Series as the backdrop as well, SmackDown can very easily let RAW suffer its own consequences.  Who needs ‘em!  It can be SmackDown and NXT then…just tossing out ideas.  Would force RAW to shape up, though.  As for the rest of the night’s fare, I’m not going to try to predict.  I’ll just be ready for the show and see if it’s worth the time.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, we’re still in lead-up territory so let’s see how they keep these fires stoked.  We don’t have to be too stingy but we certainly shouldn’t be too forthcoming.  Let them show us what they got.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
