RAW Demands Everyone Go Home for Hell in a Cell! Not Sure How to Respond Since We're Already There...

Hello Enthusiasts!

How is this Monday treating everyone?  You know I always wish you well.  So…let’s see what’s circulating shall we?  It’s a little female focused this Monday.

To start, Ms. Charlotte Flair made a business move.  She’s been out since July recovering from surgery and avoiding COVID exposure.  That doesn’t mean she can’t attend to other business in the meantime.  She has signed with a sports-oriented agency, VarnerSports.  There have been rumblings that she may branch out into more creative avenues in television and film, this may assist in making that a reality.  There’s also speculation that they will be involved in any subsequent contract negotiations with WWE.  We’ll see if this is the smart business strategy it’s supposed to be. 

The other Horsewoman on the bench, Becky Lynch, also has some rumors floating around concerning her timeline back to the ring.  It was reported that she was backstage for last week’s SmackDown.  The word is that management wants Lynch back for WrestleMania.  With her baby due in December, that seems to be a quick turnaround.  I’m not sure Lynch will be so willing to return so soon.  Motherhood is a life-changing event.  Her priorities will change and rightly so.  I’m all for her return but I’m in no hurry for it at the same time.   Seeing how she’d need to flesh out the story for her return too, it’d be a while before all concerned parties find the right angle.  I rather they take their time and put something solid together than rush to return to mediocrity.

The final bit of news is some social media fun.  “T-Bar” of the RETRIBUTION faction got tagged by The Fiend in a post.  The Fiend claimed to be already dead.  T-Bar proceeded to inquire if Alexa Bliss suffers from the same condition.  She chimed in to reply, “Dare ya to find out” and closed with #LetHimIn.  The collaboration in action is nice to see but you know me, I’m still not sold on this, and it’s hard to say social media is too.  People can’t get enough of Bliss and can’t wait to see how her story fleshes out but they seem to be willing to leave The Fiend behind.  What do you expect when your “deadly finisher” is a hand in someone’s mouth?  I don’t know how this was ever supposed to get over but someone finds it “cool”.  Well, we’ll see how it holds up.  As I’ve said before, if Wyatt is serious about selling this, he may have to look for some outside help.

We’ll get a firsthand look at Wyatt’s progress on tonight’s RAW.  He’ll have his first RAW installment of the Firefly Fun House.  Asuka will face the now “baby-faced” Lana for the Women’s Championship.  Elias will have another “concert” to welcome himself back.  And Braun Strowman and Keith Lee will have the Hoss Fight of All Ages.  The energy generated from their collision could cause a black hole.  I’m down for the physics experiment.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, well, don’t forget it’s the Go Home Show for Hell in a Cell.  Give out points if they actually provide some adequate set-up for it.  You’ll be rewarded accordingly.
