Survivor Series Came & Went. Now, RAW Faces Fallout...

A Good Evening to You, Enthusiasts!

How is this Monday treating you? It’s going pretty well in my neck of the woods if I may say so myself. So, did everyone manage to watch at least some of Survivor Series? It wasn’t the best but it was better than Hell in a Cell, I can give it that. General consensus is that it was predictable but the main event of Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre didn’t disappoint. As much as people felt this would be a “banger” of a match, I wasn’t so optimistic. Their last matches weren’t the best and I was expecting to see more of the same but these gentlemen managed to put together a great match. I can’t knock it so, good for them. Now, Reigns has to come up with a new way to end a match. Hopefully, he’s “full of himself” enough to realize when something starts to get old 😉

I also appreciated how the Ladies continue to hold their own. Asuka vs. Sasha Banks was what it was but it was still a solid match. And though Lana got the payoff for all those times she went into the table, I was just happy the Ladies showed that they know what they’re supposed to do out there. Let everyone else take note. When it comes to making “lemonade”, the Ladies make the best. That leads me to think the rest of the roster needs to learn how to “cook”, if you get my meaning. They can’t sit at home and wait for Creative to come up with something for them. They need to dig down and develop something worth supporting. The creative department is haphazard. They’re just throwing stuff at the wall, seeing what sticks. If anyone on the roster has the slightest idea of what they can do with themselves, they need to try to put it into action. Otherwise, they shouldn’t complain and be happy being the bit player because that’s basically what they’re going to end up being. Since there is no general vision at present, the wrestlers have to develop one for themselves. That’s their best bet until anyone comes up with something better. Given how they’ve been coasting for years, it could be some time.

In any case, tonight we have the Survivor Series fallout on RAW. We’ll see how they’ll ride out the year from here. I don’t know yet if they plan on having a December PPV but I do know they’re planning a Tribute to the Troops this year. The rest of the year may be a bunch of a fluff but we’ll see. Everyone is jonesing for live audiences and it’d be nice if there’s one for the Royal Rumble but it’s hard to say. Over here in California, they’ve re-implemented a curfew to try to keep businesses open. People are hoping for a vaccine so we can all get on with our lives. I can’t say when it will all go down so we’re best not to get our hopes up. As for tonight, Drew McIntyre will probably have Randy Orton waiting for him. Someone has to exploit his “bruised ego”. And Asuka will probably be looking for someone to take her loss out on. Outside of that we’ll have to wait and see. Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes well, it’s the No Man’s Land for a bit. Just sit back and observe. See if they actually make something out of it.

See You in a Bit,
