RAW Has Fallout All Right - Survivor Series Takes the Revolution in a New Direction...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts!

Well, Survivor Series was supposed to be historic for other reasons but I am superbly proud of what it may go down in history for. Last night was the first time that women proved, without a doubt that they are main event material. This has been considered and toyed with in recent years but now, it is official. Women can main event!

Charlotte and Becky Lynch should be very proud. They opened the show and no one could follow them. That is the sort of statement that needed to be made. Now, it’s the best match to main event, not just the best men's match. This is a pivotal time. The women just ushered in the real revolution. We may not recognize the place after this overhaul is done.

On the other hand, the men are probably feeling a little emasculated whether they intended to or not. I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if there was a lot of “discussion” over the content for RAW tonight. I’m sure most of last night’s players want to save some sort of face. Well, last night also demonstrated how set-up is key and right now all we really have to go on is that they’re going to go along with Mr. Vince McMahon going senile with this “Cleopatra’s Egg” angle. Well, there is more than 1 way to peel a tomato but I’m not sure this is one of them. I thought the idea was funny so hopefully they stick to humor for however long this is on TV. They could play off Succession with this sort of aside. Brian Cox’s character is subject to elder conditions due to medication or lack thereof. Maybe Mr. McMahon needs a prescription refilled. Once that happens he’s back to contemplating “budget cuts” and dismissing ideas for the show. Just a suggestion.

One downside to last night is that it kind of deflated Big E.’s “superstar” moment. The big match of the night already performed, the crowd was floundering though most of the show, another reason why this is a mark of the tide turning. That’s no way to get your audience through the night. Whoever the big draw is, is the big draw. Roman Reigns closing is no longer a guarantee. The playing field has become more level. That is huge.

In any case, we will gather for the Survivor Series Fallout for RAW and it may not be what was originally planned. That’s the beauty of live entertainment. You can’t help but notice what you saw. The revolution is in progress, enthusiasts and may have larger implications than anyone anticipated. You know I’m all for it.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
