Here We Are - Royal Rumble 2022

A Good Saturday to You, Enthusiasts.

 

The Royal Rumble is upon us yet again and I have no idea what to expect. This will be a short post because of it. There are only 6 matches officially scheduled so, either the Rumbles will be extended affairs or this will be a short PPV.

 

That’s another reason I don’t have much to say. Not much is actually advertised and as I said last night, that’s not exactly a bad thing. WWE kinda has to start over with its fanbase and simultaneously begin building a new one so, keeping things quiet and just seeing what works is a respectable tactic. Keeps us guessing and we can’t badmouth beforehand. I don’t blame them. They’ve had to clean up their own mess for a while. They won’t overtly admit it, but we should see stuff like this going forward for the time being, light advertising and the surprise factor. They’re going to hope word of mouth brings people around on curiosity.

 

So, all that said, I just hope for a fun time tonight. Royal Rumbles can be great events and it’s a fun way to introduce people who’ve never seen WWE before. I’ve had watch parties in the past and they’ve been good times. Given it’s on a Saturday, safely give the idea a try. It may be a new way for you to bond with friends and family. Show ‘em this side of yourself. You may get them to show new sides of themselves and turn them onto a new past time. We all gotta vent sometimes, right? Have some fun tonight. Funny tweets and Likes will get retweeted just the same. Try to clear your head of any preconceived notions and just let WWE entertain. Let’s see if they can get this right.
