RAW Gets Everyone Ready for Another Field Trip...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

I have a bit of a cold. It’s the first one I’ve had in over 5 years. This one is more circumstantial though. I was out in the desert and going in and out of air-conditioned buildings. Wears down my defenses every time. It’s minor so I’ll live but it’s not as fun coughing and sneezing every other 5 minutes. I’ll just have to distract myself. So, what’s going on?

Let’s start in the Realm of AEW as there’s a feeling that Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan may have to hang it up soon or at the very least, take a year or 2 off to recover. It sounds like he needs to have neck surgery and we all know how that can go. If that happens, it’s hard to say we see him as an in-ring performer again. I’d like him to retire in WWE but we’ll see if the Gods are so kind. For now, let’s just hope that minimal surgery is all that’s needed. I rather whatever needs to get fixed, get fixed as opposed to slapping Band-Aids on it. Let us all wish him the best.

In sympathetic news, over in the WWE Universe, it was presumed that Jacob Fatu may have been working an injury to avoid any contact with Roman Reigns during his return but now word has it that he may be legitimately hurt. Well, he’s a 110% kind of guy. He’ll reach the limits of his flesh from time to time. If he is in fact injured, let us wish him a speedy recovery. Someone get the man some vitamin E. I hear that’s supposed to help with healing.

Elsewhere in the WWE Universe, we have some more uplifting news as “The Viper”, Randy Orton appears to have re-signed with WWE. He’s staying right where he belongs until he may be too old to do it. 50 seems to be the magic number these days so come 2029, someone else will have to do the “viping”. Doubt it will ever be the same. It’s a shame but all things must come to an end. We’ve got a good 5 years of him, his health willing. Let’s hope these years are good ones.

And so, that brings us to tonight’s RAW. The general Olympics are over and our TV Programming returns to normalcy for the most part. Bash in Berlin is the new focal point and that comes up at the end of the month. To help pave the way, we’ll get better acquainted with Odyssey Jones. Rhea Ripley will let the WWE Universe know she’s in no mood for the likes of Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. They better stay far away if they don’t want any of her. The newer Ladies in Damage CTRL 2.0 and the Slick Baddies in Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark will battle for a shot at the Tag Team Titles. Damian Priest has got a bunch of receipts for his old cohorts in the Judgment Day. Carlito will get the first serving of what’s coming to them. And it looks like we’ll close the night with a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match with Sami Zayn hoping to reclaim his Intercontinental Championship from the “unstoppable” Bron Breakker. Let’s hope he lasts.

Unofficial Watch Party starts at 8pm PDT. Make yourself comfortable and play along.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
