How’s Everyone Doing This Sunday? Good I hope.   At least you’re in the mood for Extreme Rules.   Well, what I will say is that the WWE has been doing what they can with what they got.   Is all of it gold? No, of course not but I will give them that it’s been more coherent that I’ve ever seen it in recent years.   I can see that they are really trying out there and the talent is solid so again, the weak spots are in Creative.   They’re not always sure of how to best use everyone or put everything together.   All I can really suggest is that they all try to get back to basics, entertainment and wrestling.   To be honest, what we may have is a case of them trying too hard.   They have to work with what they got and then embellish what works, rework what doesn’t.   All the pieces are certainly there but they are still trying to make out the picture they’re going for.   They don’t have the cover of the box, kind of thing.   Or there are like 10 of them and they’re trying to see which one

Well, this one is kinda fun for me because the WWE Universe news I stumbled upon is fucking hilarious.   Well, it’s on the periphery of WWE news.   Looks like Chris Jericho got himself into a little feud with former 80s hair band front-man Sebastian Bach of Skid Row.   This is funny for so many reasons, mainly because neither of these guys can really talk if the subject is their music.   Skid Row had like a couple hits back in the day and I was never really impressed with them as a band.   I’d take Bon Jovi, Motley Crüe and Def Leppard over Skid Row any day.   Only way I’d see Skid Row is if they were on a line-up with Bon Jovi, Motley Crüe and Def Leppard and I’m sure they’d open so I’d come late.   I’d probably see a FOZZY show over a Skid Row show out of sheer curiosity but I admit that Skid Row has had more notoriety overall.   I never took FOZZY seriously so the fact that they’re bickering over a moot issue is just cracking me up right now.   Never min

How Goes It Enthusiasts? Trying to enjoy Summer?   I know, it’s a bit different this time around but that doesn’t mean fun can’t be had.   Just have to be more creative about it is all.     In any case, well word of how COVID is spreading in the WWE Universe is getting around.   Looks like Lana and Rusev are the next ones to become effected.   Sounds like Lana’s parents have caught it and Rusev apparently tested positive.   For those out there believing this is some conspiracy best take note.   This is a super-cold we’re dealing with.   That means it’s easy to catch.   This disease making the rounds should be no surprise.   Its basis is one of the most communicable strains in existence.   That’s why precautions are so necessary.   Who can say they haven’t caught a cold?    I haven’t caught a bad one for a few years.   I hope that last one gave me some antibodies to combat it with.   And don’t forget that the COVID isn’t the only thing that can get you.    Keep yourselves healthy any

How’s everyone doing?   Well I hope.   I’m teetering around falling into stir crazy but I think I’ll manage.   So, what’s going on in the WWE Universe?   What grabbed me is that Matt Riddle stated his side of the story and its circulating about the Social Medias.   I read the transcript didn’t bother to watch it.   Yet, I do like how I, for the most, part read the situation right.   It sounds like the lady in question is running on some sour grapes but it’s clear something transpired between the 2.   At this point, I feel it may be none of our business but it may scrap Riddle’s WWE career before it ever had a chance.   So far, I’m not impressed with him though he has some impressive stats.   I don’t really know if anyone cares for a Spicoli II in the WWE Universe is all.   At least Sean Penn can act.   That coupled with bad press may mean we won’t give him much of a hearing.   I’m not sure if that’s too bad but it’s par for the course when it comes to the W

How Is It Going , Enthusiasts? Recovering from a festive weekend I hope.   Well, there is certainly some news circulating.   Last week we had the “interview” of Matt Riddle who explained to us why he’s barefoot all the time.   Naturally, we would have preferred an interview of different content but there’s no reason to not take the WWE’s hint of not to pry.   This is a tricky one.   I guess all we can really say is that Riddle better not get himself mixed up in any controversy again. Any indication of that may be enough to condemn the man to some sort of tomfoolery.   I’m simply not impressed enough to give the man too many hearings as of yet. Elsewhere, former WWE talent Sarah Logan announced that she is with child with Erik of the Viking Raiders.   I didn’t know that they were an item.   I knew she was married to someone else with the WWE but never put the semi-obvious together.   I’m happy for them.   I hope this proves an enriching event for them both. Happy Observed Independence Day, Enthusiasts! I hope you’re somewhere feasting ‘cause that’s what I’m gonna do.   So, there’s a lot of news swirling around the WWE Universe.   The bit that most grabbed me is that Kairi Sane is returning to her native Japan to basically live her life.   She’s married and the husband is in Japan so…there you have it.   Nia Jax is probably gonna get more heat for this ‘cause the feeling is that Sane’s recent injury has a lot to do with this decision.   Personally, I think it’s because Sane’s 20 pounds.   She may just not be built to take the bumps.   I’ve been saying they need bigger ladies if they’re going to have Jax in the mix.   The ladies need to be big enough to handle it.   I get that part of the spectacle is the David(a) vs. Goliath(a) juxtaposition but, let’s just be honest.   With times changing as they are, the question arises of whether this is a spectacle we need to continue.   Now, if little ladies want to go out and take the chance, fine

Mondays becoming easier…yeah, well if you have the luxury of being able to stay at home for it, I can see why.   So, he we are again in a No Man’s Land before a PPV.   There’s news circulating about the WWE Universe but nothing exciting enough for me to comment on.   What is somewhat interesting is the speculation of what will become of Tessa Blanchard.   Rumor has it that the WWE may consider taking on the controversial lady.   I’ve seen a bit of her stint with Impact and I wasn’t impressed.   Her winning the Men’s Championship came off more like spectacle than anything else.   Come see the Lady beat a Man sort of thing and given that she’s not imposing it reads more like playful titillation as opposed to a valid contest.   There’s definitely potential drama-wise but the current WWE Ladies have to wonder if this would downplay their accomplishments.   The Ladies of WWE have a great distinction at the moment.   They can boast their skill in the ring unlik

Is it treating you well?   Staying healthy?   I hope so.   Well, let’s dive right in, shall we.   So, the big news is that the soft re-opening of the WWE to the public mildly backfired as Renée Young among others have gone and caught the COVID.   It’s too bad.   I hope they’re asymptomatic or at least mild cases.   We all love Ms. Young and Mr. Jon Moxley and will always wish them well.   Personally, I hope for the day Moxley returns to the WWE Universe but I understand his need to explore.   I hope they’re both happy. In any case as for tonight’s SmackDown we may have to be prepared for a crappy show.  With current allegations circulating and sudden illness falling, they may have scrapped previously scheduled content.    That may be why we’re now going to celebrate the re-retiring of The UnderTaker.    I have no problem with the man but I’ve made it clear that I never got him.   He’s an imposing figure enough but the whole gimmick never landed with me.

Given the circumstances, I get the feeling it’s not so painful to see as it once was.   In any case, the WWE Universe is proving that it is not immune to the trials and tribulations of Real Time living.   If it isn’t talk of cutbacks due to COVID its how #TimesUp is making its way through the ranks. Well, when it comes to the allegations and statements, at least these aren’t too recent but recent enough to call into question.   This is because what may be telling is that people now know better than to make these statements publicly, doesn’t mean they’ve changed as people.   That’s the main reason that Matt Riddle may have an uphill battle concerning his predicament.   Contrary to Sammy Guevara’s situation, the WWE has been aware of Riddle’s issues but the fact there is record of an on-going “disagreement” alludes that something did transpire.   Some way or another, Riddle is going to have to own up.   He can either continue to profess innocence or be honest

So, how ready are you for Extreme Rules?    Personally, I’m a little surprised this is getting a 4pm/7pm start during the Summer but I guess they’re trying to get this wrapped up well before midnight for you East Coasters.   It is a "school night" for us who have to work 😉  And t hough they can advertise the Undertaker we all know that this isn’t one of the most hyped up PPVs.   What is interesting is that AEW offered another showing as well last night in the form of Fight for the Fallen.   I didn’t check it out but given what I’ve seen from AEW, all the WWE needs to do is keep tonight fun and entertaining.   If everyone can basically go out there and demonstrate why they get paid to do it, they shouldn’t have much to worry about when it comes to AEW.   Like I said, WWE can let AEW be Dallas .   They’ll stick to our version of class and represent those who would have preferred Dynasty if they had it to choose from.   The remake is t

How’s this Tuesday Going for You? I had a doctor’s appointment if that’s any consolation.   So, RAW didn’t so much phone it in as lob it over the net, so to speak.   As far as Go Home Shows go, I’d say they missed the mark a bit but as for a show, it was very OK.   Now, that makes it somewhat clear that they’re leaving the dirty work to SmackDown this time around.   So, here’s where some intrigue floats to the surface.   Was that all Paul Heyman could come up with or is that what he’s leaving Eric Bischoff to clean up? As this new era develops, there are going to be a ton of ways for Kayfabe to slip in.   One of those ways is in speculation in how the shows are run.   Would Heyman be that much of dick to leave the guy who hasn’t even officially started yet with the short end of the stick?   Well, if it makes for good story maybe.   We’ll see if this is just experimentation or the set-up of a more interesting tale. Is it treating you well?   I hope you had a nice relaxing break.   In terms of the WWE Universe, w e should be ready to jump back into it with RAW ’s Go Home Show offering for Extreme Rules.   It’s hard to say what to expect but we can at least prepare for the content to be a little edgier.   It looks like the idea that wrestling is for kids is going out the window and now the focus is on the young upstarts in the teenage set and all those who aren't quite ready for full-on "adulting".   Hopefully, they find a feasible way to do this ‘cause I don’t know what’s going on with the kids anymore.   The way trends have been going, I wouldn’t think kids would care for this wrestling fare.   This is the main reason I’ve been suggesting following a sort of Game of Thrones set up, incorporating the Houses and such.   Perhaps the political intrigue may pique young interests who see the parallels in their waking lives.   I’m pretty sure scho

A Good Tuesday to you.   So, SmackDown offers up its Go-Home tithe and RAW , for once, doesn’t leave much for them to clean-up.   They actually have to stand on their own and make us want to tune in on Sunday.   So, how are they gonna do that?   Well, The Miz is set to interview Team Hell No on MizTV.   Not sure how that will go down….flames seem more likely than not but I could be wrong.    But, i f fire does break out, perhaps it could light up the rivalry smoldering between Cien Almas and Sin Cara.   For Cien’s sake he better hope so.   Still more intrigued by his manager than him.   Haven’t been impressed.   Also, Tye Dillinger will get some air time and try to hold his own against big, bad Samoa Joe.   Asuka is going to finish up her unfinished business with James Ellsworth as they lock horns in a Lumberjack Match.   And AJ Styles and a recovered(?) Shinsuke Nakamura will loosen each other up with a non-title match
