RAW Has One Last Hurrah on Cable TV...

 How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Getting ready for New Year’s Eve? I’m surrounded by family so, it’s not going to get that nuts but it’s the first time in a long time I've celebrated with them. We’re usually elsewhere so, I’ll make the most of being together.

As for the Wrestling World, there are a few things to talk about. Should give us a decent post. Ready to get into it? Here we go.

So, in the Realm of AEW Edge/Adam Copeland made his triumphant return and as expected he set his sights on Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. I knew Copeland would be all over him. I didn’t even remember that he has no patience for the SHIELD in general. Now, Uncle Edge looks about as good as he can but we can’t forget that he’s pushing 600 years old. Though FTR have his back, will he be able to hold up and make a difference? Hard to say but we got a front runner for who may go get the taser to handle this. Things should remain palatable with Uncle Edge back in the mix. He’s got enough TV experience to at least keep things believable. I feel this angle has a real shot going forward. Let’s hope that Uncle Edge stays healthy.

Elsewhere, Zilla Fatu is starting to cut his teeth. Over at Booker T’s promotion he has begun to turn against his mentor. Taking the Heel route and boasting to know it all already, Fatu is set to face Booker in combat. Not expecting Booker to be victorious but hopefully he manages to give Fatu a few things to talk about before “age gets the best of him”. That all goes down on January 11, 2025. We’ll see how that plays out.

Back in the WWE Universe, CM Punk was in action yesterday in his hometown of Chicago. He went after the Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER in a steel cage. Things would have been fine until Dominik Mysterio crashed the party and gave Gunther the edge to win. Not sure if that beef is going to be what’s after Seth Rollins but Dom has been doing a great job with his Heel rendition. He’s making it so fun to hate him which is more or less the assignment. I’m thinking he only goes to being a Face when he encounters someone worse. Not sure who that is at present but there’s time to contemplate. No need to pull that trigger anytime soon.

And so that brings us to tonight’s RAW. It’s kinda a big deal tonight since it’s the last RAW on cable television. Next week, it’s on Netflix. We can anticipate Chad Gable and Otis hashing it out one more time. Dominik Mysterio will team up with Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh to take on the War Raiders and their ally in Damian Priest. And there’s a good chance that Seth Rollins gets a taste of whatever CM Punk feels like rolling down his hill, given last night’s outcome. We’ll have to watch if we want the full story.

The unofficial watch party will start at 8pm PST. Feel free to stop by if you’ve got nothing else planned.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
