If RAW Paves, SmackDown Lays Down the Street Markings & Puts Up the Stop Signs...Towards Stomping Grounds...
Greetings Enthusiasts!
How’s this Tuesday going for
you? Meh, I’ve had better and I’ve had
worse. No point in dwelling. Anyway, RAW
did its job and performed the set-up. Maybe someone gave them a pep talk before the show but everyone
seemed ready to play and that was fun. I
respect and welcome the effort. I was
saying how it seemed like they weren’t having fun out there and my point is,
what’s the point of this if the talent is miserable? Who wants to watch downtrodden
performers? You want excitement and enthusiasm. Well, we got a bit of that last night and now
SmackDown has to take the shot set
before them and hopefully get a win.
To do that, we have Xavier Woods
attempting to dissect Dolph Ziggler’s beef in the ring. And Bayley will head back to SmackDown with Alexa Bliss to share “A
Moment of Bliss”. Not sure how blissful
it will be but we can certainly give it a shot. Since that’s not much to go on, SmackDown
will have to be clever in delivering this final “blow”. WWE has to establish this new standard of excellence. Now, I know many of you feel that putting “WWE”
and “excellence” in the same sentence equals an oxymoron but hear me out. The roster is talented it just seems like
Creative doesn’t know what to do with them.
Well, with AEW on the rise, that’s gotta change right quick. If they’re smart, they should be starting to
ease us into our “new normal” about now.
A PPV is a great way to start. As
long as AEW remains competition, the WWE will have to up its game to keep
pace. We should generally be getting
better content from here on out or at least for as long as AEW remains
relevant. That being said let’s continue
to be encouraging. Funny tweets get
retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites well, if you’re prompted to greatness you
won’t be denied.
See You in a Bit,
