SmackDown Pulls Over to Assess the Fastlane Fallout....
Happy Friday, Enthusiasts!
It’s been a while since it’s actually felt like one so,
this is nice. Hope it’s treating you well too. So, there is some movement in
the wrestling world. Shall we take a look? No rush 😉
So, Andrade is free and shopping around it seems. He’s
certainly floating through my Twitter feed. I don’t have anything against him
so, I hope he finds what he’s looking for. On a side note, word is Thea
Trinidad f.k.a. Zelina Vega has made a short term deal somewhere. Yet, with
whom and in what capacity has yet to be seen. Thankfully, in many cases there
is a life after WWE. And who knows, they may come back someday. That “door” is
certainly a revolving one.
For those of you planning your Peacock acquisition, NBC
appears to be removing unsavory content from the WWE libraries. The best thing
about that is you know a few people have steady jobs for a while. There’s a lot
to be desired in WWE history. I’m not surprised NBC is trying to give it a
polish. They don’t want people coming back around asking why they offer this
shite. That’s what you call getting in front of people. Die-hard fans will have
to stick to YouTube or WWE.com
Dipping into some NXT news, sounds like Finn Balor is
taking his own fate into his hands. On NXT, he put the Demon gimmick on the
ground so to speak, making the concept more figurative as opposed to literal. Can’t
say I blame him. Though the Fiend may not be of Creative’s origin, how it’s
being handled doesn’t exactly instill confidence in WWE landing the mystical angle
correctly. Balor already got burned first time out. Looks like he’s going to
make next time, “shame on them”. I’m proud of him. This is the sort of thing
you have to do unfortunately. WWE let it is slip they don’t have all the
answers. That allows for others to offer some up. It’s hard to say it would be
any worse. Balor is taking himself back and it’s probably a good time to do so.
Let’s hope he’s left to steer his own ship.
So, that brings us to tonight. We have the official
Fastlane Fallout on SmackDown. We all
know that Daniel Bryan will want to contest the conclusion of the match he “lost”
as hijinks ensued and denied him the win. The only way to right this is to have
a Triple Threat Match to settle this once and for all. That seems to be where
we’re headed. Also, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continue to contemplate
friendship Canadian style. We’ll have to wait and see what we learn. Funny
tweets get retweeted and as for Likes… this is an interesting time. This is a
shallower No Man’s Land period because WrestleMania is in a couple of weeks
away so, final preparations for this extravaganza are in the works. Each show
should draw us in more and more. So, if you’re not feeling the pull towards
WrestleMania, something is off. Best to let ‘em know it.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis
