RAW Sends Everyone Home for Bad Blood...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Making the most of a Monday? I guess you have to. There is quite a bit to chat about, depending on your interest, but I’m only going to talk about a few things. Just going with a broad overview. Though there’s much to choose from, I’ve only got words for a few. Up for hearing them? Let’s get into it.

First thing is first, whether you like him or not, congratulations are in order for Mr. Logan Paul. He’s a proud Papa as he and his fiancΓ©e welcomed their 1st child last week. I’m sure the reality is sinking in and changing our braggart at a core level. Will he be as fun to boo going forward? Can’t say but I do wish his new family well. Mazel Tov!

In other news, for The Simpsons fans out there, John Cena got his debut but most agree that the Simpson-ification didn’t quite take with him. A commentor got it right, I think, by noticing Cena was drawn without a chin and that’s one of his more distinguishing features. Can’t say I made the correlation until I heard him speak but it will do for an un-series finale. Just another way the superstar has been immortalized. Good for him.

And so, that’s all I got. Told you my words were running low. It’s Go Home Week for our performers as Bad Blood awaits us on Saturday. Tonight is also a big deal as it may be the last 3-hour RAW we see in the foreseeable future. In preparation for the Netflix debut next year, they’ll be utilizing the shorter format going forward. Not sure what I’m going to do with the extra hour. Gonna have to find a new show to stream. In the meantime, we can expect a 6-Man Tag with the Judgment Day facing the new LWO with Dragon Lee. Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed will continue battling through America. Jey Uso will address us as our new Intercontinental Champion and both Drew McIntyre and CM Punk will have some words about their upcoming Hell in a Cell Match.

For that, all I’ll say is to look at what doesn’t work and do their best not to end up there. Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland were too literal with the assignment. Punk and McIntyre have to keep it “real”. We all know no one is dying nor do we want to witness a death. We want to witness “carnage”! So, how do they do it? Well, all I’m asking is that CM Punk play a smart game. If he’s going to live up to this sentiment of becoming some devil incarnate when pushed, I’m expecting to see a conniving Punk at work.

I expect to see McIntyre doing all that he can to throttle Punk but Punk doesn’t have the benefit of McIntyre’s size and strength. He’ll have to get McIntyre to do himself in and then pounce when he’s off-balance. Whenever McIntyre is compromised, Punk should be all over it and if he’s savvy enough, setting up the “trap” for McIntyre to fall into so that he can. This should be more a head trip. Perhaps Punk commandeers something special to McIntyre. If McIntyre gets cornered, Punk should tease career-ending damage. He needs McIntyre to do the work for him if he’s gonna pull off a win. And if he’s not, McIntyre needs to royally kick his ass.

All in all, this match shouldn’t suck. Keep it simple and keep it physical but for godsake don’t make it stupid. Destroy the place, destroy each other and whoever is left standing, wins. They can do it, but will they? We shall see. Until then, we have the unofficial watch party at 8pm PDT. Let’s see if this lead up wets the whistle. You know where to find me if you want to play along.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
