RAW Declares It's All About BackLash...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Did you have a good weekend? Looks like TNA had a PPV on Sunday. And wouldn’t you know it? BackLash is coming up fast in the WWE Universe. There’s not a whole lot that has grabbed my interest but I think we can find enough to have a brief chat. You up for it? Let’s have a little fun.

Well, last week’s SmackDown was a blast for a lot of reasons. The Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match was one of the finer ones of recent times and the crowd participation you couldn’t ask for. A patron with a prosthetic leg offered it as a weapon in the melee and Montez Ford was willing to oblige. You can’t make stuff like that up so can’t even start to complain.

Personally, I was totally stoked to welcome back Aleister “Malakai” Black. They feel the same way I do and basically picked up where they left off. That’s fine by me. They should handle him like making up for lost time.

A lot of fans were a little disappointed in the lack of “pop” but I think most people were too busy filming it. Besides, he got a “Welcome Back!...” chant and was applauded heartily when he laid out The Miz so, I don’t think there was any disrespect, per se. He’s like the bougie coffee shop so, not everyone will appreciate him like Starbucks but those who go out of their way to pay a little more for the quality and brooding atmosphere will make this a cult hit just the same.

I would continue with he vignettes and everything. Have him open “the book” and basically start with a “Where was I…” I’m not going to get into how letting him go was a mistake. Let’s just be glad that time told and everyone should know that by now. All Hail the Circle of Life 😉

On the outskirts of the WWE Universe, there’s speculation that Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan may be collaborating on a podcast in the near future. There’s a teaser trailer like clip making the rounds featuring the both of them and hinting at a third man.

I’m not big on podcasts and even less so on Hogan so, this won’t have much of my attention but given Hogan is involved, a lot people have something to say. All I’ll say is that Hogan made his bed and it looks like he’s doing what he can to make it comfortable. I don’t mind him making lemonade but let’s not be surprised if he’s the only one that’s left drinking it.

And so, that leaves us tonight’s RAW. Looks like Logan Paul stops by but I find it funny, no one let’s that spoiler slip in my feed. Rhea Ripley will see how far Roxanne Perez has come. Becky Lynch will explain and state her next move and we will see what Lord Seth Rollins has in store for any Babyface who tries to step to him and/or Bron Breakker. Rollins’ “Hand” Paul Heyman will lie in the cut and take notes.

The unofficial replay party will start over here closer to the 9 o’clock hour. Per usual, I have some stuff to do. So, start early, start late. If you want to stop by, you know where I’ll be slanging. Catch up on X/Twitter or Blue Sky at your leisure.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
