Survivor Series 2025 - RAW Fallout

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts!

Welcome back to the daily grind if you had Thanksgiving off. Well, the topic of discussion will primarily focus on Survivor Series/War Games. It wasn’t a bad show but it wasn’t spectacular either. Yet we were left with a taste of intrigue so there’s some stuff we can get into. Ready? Here we go.

So, yeah, Survivor Series was a limited show since most time and attention was given to the War Games matches. There has been a recent general gripe among fans being somewhat tired of the War Games set-up and I can’t say I’m in the same boat but I’m usually for mixing things up.

I wouldn’t say it hurt the show but it did raise some questions of how to portray these shows. There was some talk about how the Ladies didn’t really hold to the concept of kayfabe after their match. That’s okay if there’s no live crowd but you ruin any mystique if you play it that way. Word is that Nia Jax and Lash Legend held character until backstage at least so, good on them. The Men, I hear, kept to kayfabe enough or at least remained in character until out of sight.

My only real critique was that though the Women executed cleanly, they did seem to have less fun with it, outside of Lady Becky Lynch and to a lesser degree, AJ Lee. Lynch seems to be just letting loose right now while Lord Seth Rollins recovers and it’s been fun to watch. Yet, the Ladies seemed to just hit their marks and call it a day. It was just a bit too staged. Take Iyo Sky’s jump from the top in the garbage can. She’s done it before but with all the Ladies stopping just to gather and receive her kinda touches on the fan complaints. It’s hard to believe this is “real” when the spots are clearly staged like that. I understand the need for safety and whatnot but Sky should have snuck up there “unbeknownst” to the players as they should be too busy kicking each other’s asses to notice she slipped away. Sky should have then waited until enough of the Lady Heels were gathered to make the leap. I don’t expect that to happen naturally but that’s where the performance comes into play. They should have made their way over and “noticed at the last minute” that Sky got the jump or something similar to that note.

Though we generally know that this is not real, we like to be fooled and forget that this is all scripted. That’s what gets honest responses. We genuinely get caught up in the action. That’s not going to happen if we can see it all being purposely staged and no one’s keeping character.

Besides that, I think it was a decent show. I’m not surprised they didn’t go my way but my arguments remain valid as with Liv Morgan returning and Dominik Mysterio regaining the Intercontinental Championship, they have to make all that interesting now while John Cena wraps things up. Same goes for Stephanie Vaquer retaining. I never though Nikki Bella would win clean so they had her lose clean instead. Now, it’s on them to make Vaquer’s reign an interesting one.

So, that leaves the intrigue of who was the “man in black” who took out CM Punk for the Heels to win. Most suspect it was LA Knight or Austin Theory. Personally, I’m thinking it’s one of the Bloodline Juggalos like Tama Tonga or someone ‘cause the stature didn’t fit Theory’s. He’s well-built but short and I kinda thought the gait didn’t match LA Knight’s vibe unless he’s trying to “frame someone”.

Some think it may have been Rollins but this cat scaled the cage so if that’s so, Rollins is faking the shoulder injury. Wouldn’t put it past him and the dude did use the Curbstomp so…it’s possible but my money’s on a Juggalo. Probably at the bidding of Solo Sikoa so that he can continue to make a name for himself and such. Faces wouldn’t side with him so might as well “stick to his own”.

A few even went so far as to suspect Jon Moxley breaking company lines and doing it. Well, that’s not how I would do things but the main point I have against that is what beef does he have with CM Punk? A move like that would more or less put him in league with Rollins which isn’t true to his form. Though they may have put “grievances” aside during their final run before Mox left, it’s safe to assume that the grudge of betrayal will always weigh heavily on him, especially with how Rollins has treated Roman Reigns in recent years. He wouldn’t support someone who’d do his boy dirty. Given that, I doubt he’d do Rollins any favors so I’m gonna squash that noise right here.

Regardless, that leaves us with the Fallout on tonight’s RAW. We’ll see what’s next for Paul Heyman & Company after their victory. The Last Time Is Now Tournament will continue as the semifinals take place. We’ll see Solo Sikoa take on GUNTHER and Jey Uso will probably shakedown LA Knight to see if he had anything to do with the Faces loss over the weekend. We’ll also get some Tag Team action as the Bad New Day will try to take the Titles from Dragon Lee and AJ Styles.

I should be able to get going around 6:30pm PST. This should be one of the last RAWs I start early. I should be back to my usual West Coast timing by the 15th. In the meantime, enjoy knocking this out early. I know most of us have to get up for work in the morning. Until then, let’s enjoy the evening.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
