RAW Instructs Us to Honor John Cena...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Welcome to the start of another week. So, there are some things going on but not much for me to talk about. We’ll touch on a few things and then get to the show. Ready? Here we go.

We’ll do a brief stop in the Entertainment World as Paramount doesn’t want to let Netflix have Warner Bros. Word is they planted a “hostile” counteroffer on the table for it. From what I’m hearing, it’s not more than what Netflix is throwing down but I suspect it’s more liquid. I would think that’s the only consideration but I don’t have any specifics.

If I’m Warner Bros., I wouldn’t really be open to dealing with Paramount, especially with its MAGA leanings. Warner Bros. seems to be staying out of the political fray for the most part so I can see them going thanks, but no thanks to them. I’m not sure what Paramount could do to sway them outside of leaving the political arena but we shall see. It looks like this isn’t done quite yet.

Over in the Realm of AEW, the Continental Classic continues and the shocker is that Jon Moxley is also continuing to take Ls. He lost in a solid match to Konosuke Takeshita. I hadn’t seen Takeshita in action before but what I saw was commendable. He went hard at Moxley and Mox made Takeshita give him everything before going down so, you could say he went down swinging.

In the post-match clips posted by AEW, Mox claims this is not over. There’s still a chance and still life in him so, don’t count him out. This starts to get more interesting as you could say that Mox is bordering on desperation and that’s always a dangerous place for others when it comes to him. He’ll validate “madness” for getting the W. I’ll be keeping an eye on things because this could be what jump starts the Future.

I’m not going to be too picky about how it comes into being as long as it’s relatively believable and that they have fun with it. The Future is supposed to be a good time for the spectators at least. I would hope for the players as well but I don’t know enough about the realities to fully comment but, in theory, the more fun they have with it, the more fun we’ll have overall so, I hope they’re setting themselves up to get gradually nuts. How the Continental Classic goes should be a preliminary indication. We shall see.

That brings us to the WWE Universe as we focus on sending John Cena off to his life after wrestling. For tonight’s RAW, for our viewing pleasure we’ll see Finn BΓ‘lor take on Rey Mysterio. Stephanie Vaquer will contemplate her next goals as the World Champion. Lyra Valkyria will stay ring ready courtesy of Roxanne Perez. We’ll have a potential sleeper hit as The War Raiders challenge Dragon Lee and AJ Styles for the Tag Team Championships and GUNTHER will gloat a bit before taking on John Cena this Saturday.

As I’ve said before this should be one of the last early RAW’s I replay then it’s back to West Coast time more or less. I may get started around 7pm just to respect it being the beginning of the week but no more of the 6-6:30pm starts. Just got other things to do πŸ˜‰ In the meantime, get it while the getting is good.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
