When RAW Says to "Go Home" They Mean Get to Saudi Arabia...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

A Merry Monday to you. So, there’s not much going on in the Wrestling World be we can have brief chat about this past weekend’s Saturday Night: Main Event and the night’s RAW. So, let’s not dally and do this.

Saturday’s SNME was great! It was just a solid show. It was ramped up from the moment someone said “Go!” and didn’t really settle down until it was over. It was a lot of fun. I think it’s a nice touch that Jacob Fatu’s and Cody Rhode’s match never officially got started and they just had it out in the stands which proves my point of how we don’t use our words in the WWE Universe. Scrapping it out is all we understand. It served Drew McIntyre to shut it all down as well. If he’s going to carry this Championship he has to have some clout. I don’t mind him being a “miserable bastard” in the meantime. He just has to validate himself on occasion.

The Ladies did their jobs in the Tag Team Championship and it’s hard to complain when Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles share the ring. However, there is a bit of intrigue going on with Styles. Nakamura posted on Instagram something that alluded to Styles’ retirement coming sooner than later which have us all wondering if next Saturday will in fact be the last time we see him in action.

I hope not. I thought he’d hang in there until he was 50. I’d rather they have some sort of interference DQ the whole thing. Have Styles settle this later without his career on the line. Sometimes, someone just has to slap the smug off of GUNTHER’s face, that’s all.

As for the main event itself, I was pleased to see WWE Brass acquiesce and give Sami Zayn the Title shot. I’m not sure we believe him as WWE Champion but I’ll root for him all the same. We have to have those long shots just to keep hope alive. If he does get it, I think his reign should be “tiring”. Our players should think what we’re thinking and just be out to get him. Zayn doing whatever he can to stay crafty enough to stay Champ could be entertaining while it lasts. Someone will wear him down eventually but he should have fun with it while it lasts.

While they figure all that out we’ll get ready for the Royal Rumble at the end of the week. For RAW’s Go-Home Show we have Natalya explaining why she had to be cruel to be kind to Maxxine Dupri. Gunther will allow someone to ask him questions before he possibly sends AJ Styles out to pasture. Bron Breakker will stop by to see if Adam Pearce will give him a second chance. AJ Styles will let us know what he thinks about his future and we’ll have a Tag Team #1 Contenders’ Match as Alpha Academy sends in Akira Tozawa & Otis, the Creed Brothers get back to action, “Los Americanos” send in Dos y Tres and the Bad New Day see who get to battle Solo Sikoa’s MFTs/Bloodline Juggalos.

I have an early day tomorrow so we’ll keep it at a 6:30pm PST start for now but that shouldn’t be the case next week. Enjoy it while it lasts, my friends. Til then….

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
