RAW Fallout ─ Elimination Chamber 2026

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

How’d you like Elimination Chamber? You know what, I was surprisingly satisfied with it. It had a few things to be desired but knowing how I’ve sat through plenty worse, I wasn’t mad at it. Actually, kinda liked how they decided to more or less stick to the program. Yet, we’ll break some of that down in a bit. First, let’s take a look at what else is going on then get back to that.

Over in the Realm of AEW, the Riders of Death continue to feud with the Don Callis Family but if I didn’t know better, I’d say they’re too friendly IRL to make this interesting. So, I suggest using this build-up time as an opportunity to hone their shit talking skills. They aren’t saying too much, just brawling when they see each other and as I suspected, that can get boring but spicing it up with some witty shit talk can wake everybody up while the whole thing stews.

I would say for now, the goal should be making the other guys break. You know you’re doing your job right if people have trouble staying in character so they should be going for the funny zingers into spring. As summer comes along, they can start going “too far” but for now, it’s about “pissing each other off”.

I would say Konosuke Takeshita should maybe stay out of this due to his English not being the best but if they’re willing to let him rip in Japanese with some decent subtitling, go for it. Otherwise, he should probably keep it semi-serious for now as they build for Revolution in a couple weeks. This is just my take on things. They can have at however they want as long as it keeps things interesting but getting the shit talking going is an easy fix in my humble opinion. I always opt for humor when the momentum lulls. Gotta at least entertain. Who doesn’t like to laugh?

Over in the WWE Universe, we contemplate the Fallout for Elimination Chamber. It was fairly predictable for the most part though I was a bit surprised that they gave wins to both AJ Lee and CM Punk. WWE usually likes to fuck with the home crowd but with the military action against Iran going down, I think they figured it’s best to send everyone home happy rather than be upset and pondering the possibilities of World War III.

Personally, I don’t think these latest military maneuvers will lead to that. It’s as Orwell suggests, we’re always at war with The East or Eurasia. Given the political landscape, it’s fair to presume this is some sort of diversion from the Epstein Files. It’s a common ploy in the West, especially when Republicans are running things. Just another “Victory for Freedom”…whatever that means.

Anyway, as for the Chamber Matches, I believe the Ladies remained credible and threw it down ardently. It was a great tone to set the show. Yet the drama was with the Men’s, as Seth Rollins returned to the fray to issue out Karma to Paul Heyman and his New Vision.

The match itself went more or less as I anticipated yet I was happy that they decided to give the nod to Randy Orton. A fair move given how things are up in the air. He can serve his “placeholder” status as they decide which way to go. I can appreciate how these pieces fit together.

Now, we see how the Fallout comes together. We get to introduced to this Danhausen who has to prove he’s more than a Kids in the Hall ripoff. And we see what Roman Reigns has to say about facing off against Old Man Punk. Also for tonight’s RAW we can expect Dragon Lee to finally give GUNTHER what for. Penta (Lucha-Mitsu) will try to take the Intercontinental Title off of Dominik Mysterio. He’s had too long anyway. Liv Morgan will elaborate on her decision to battle Stephanie Vaquer. And the Mr. & Mrs. in AJ Lee and CM Punk will speak on their Championship wins.

I got business a few more times this month but by the end of it, we’ll be back to West Coast time. Sorry for those who need to go to bed earlier. Get the early showings while you can. I’ll get going by about 6:30pm PST.

See You in a Bit,
