How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

 

Enjoying your Friday? I will in a couple of hours. In the meantime, can’t say it’s all that bad. I’ve been taken over by a bout of lazy so only the force of habit has me typing now. I’d rather be lounging 😉 In any case, it’s fairly quiet in the Wrestling World so, this post shouldn’t go for too long but there are few things I can touch on. Shall we? Let’s.

 

We’ll take a brief stop in the Realm of AEW as the build for this weekend’s Revolution has reached a crescendo. Looks like they’re already on a Konosuke Takeshita Face Turn as he refused to resort to underhanded tactics to soften up Jon Moxley for their match on Sunday. Takeshita has been respectably sporting a black eye and so you can assume he’s not 100%.

 

It’s not beneath the Don Callis Family to even the playing field but Takeshita has been adamant about doing things fairly. Will it cost him in the end? We shall see. This doesn’t have to have anything to do with the Future but it is interesting. でも、竹下さんは優しすぎるよ。彼は去ってもいいと思います。I’ll follow up and see what they end up doing.

 

On another note, I watched that match between Mike “Speedball” Bailey and Kyle Fletcher. Very nice banger. They can throwdown but what is Fletcher’s gimmick? Does he have one? ‘Cause looking at him he looks like a gay porn star. Is that on purpose? I don’t mind if it is but if it’s not, I’d say go with less latex-y gear otherwise double down and own it. Just saying.

 

In any case, over in the WWE Universe we continue the steady powerwalk to WrestleMania. To gradually set the scene we have a Tag Team Championship match as the Wyatt Sicks send in Uncle Howdy and Erick Rowan to reclaim what was once theirs from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. Mia Yim will see what Jade Cargill’s problem is. Nia Jax and Lash Legend will defend their Tag Team Titles against the jonesing Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Jelly Roll will stop by to add the celebrity pizzazz as he chats with The Miz. And Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes will sign their contracts for the big show. We’ll see if it’s civil or ends in bedlam. You never know.

 

I’ve already done my part for dinner so I’ll be nice and settled in for the evening. I suggest you do the same if your schedule allows. However, no shame if you decide to see what the night holds. It’s warm in my neck of the woods so go enjoy the beginnings of spring if you have the opportunity.
