Yeah, RAW Is Here to Mess Stuff Up. Leave It SmackDown to Actually Get Things Done...
Greetings Enthusiasts!
How’s this Tuesday faring for you? Well, last night was actually kind of feisty,
especially with Liv Morgan getting her dome rocked by Brie Bella. We all know it was a bit of a botch but
Morgan was tough. Looks like she got
evaluated for a concussion but it sounds like she’ll recover. I missed that moment but it’s all over the
wrassling sites.
As for the ring action for RAW it was palatable. Naturally, we were geared for the main event
but I’m sure people liked seeing Finn Bálor and Bayley out there. I don’t know if I’m ever gonna get Bálor but
I respect his following. He’s got some
spunk for being out there regardless of being one of the runts of the
litter. He’s got moxie. I’ll give him that.
As for the main event, with The Shield versus Baron Corbin with The
Authors of Pain and the newly formed Dogs of War in Braun Strowman, Drew
McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler on the sidelines, as to be expected it did eventually become
madness as it usually does. Yet, it does look like they may start the
dissolution of The Shield with Dean Ambrose being the odd man out without a
title. I don’t mind them breaking
up. This is why any team is put together but
I just don’t need Ambrose going heel. I
still feel he should get more Shield and Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are
sellouts in his eyes. I just think it
allows the best of both worlds. Ambrose
can go all Ambrose and perhaps face his former brothers in Singles
competition. You know, until they get
back together again. He's not a bad guy, it's just a huge difference of opinion. Gotta leave the door open, you know.
In any case, SmackDown will bring things back down to Earth as we
prepare for this Super ShowDown and the Crown Jewel Exhibition after that. We’ll see Big E try to establish his solo
career against Sheamus. We’ll see if
Aiden English can survive his turn on Rusev.
I actually am a little worried for his career at the moment. Not sure what there is for him outside of
Rusev’s corner but I could be proven wrong.
And probably close to the end or maybe towards start, we’ll have AJ Styles
and Samoa Joe sign on the dotted line regarding their Super Showdown
match. I liked RAW this week so, SmackDown will have to show they can play along,
keep the party going, so to speak. It’s
kind of open season until November, PPV-wise, because we have the Showdown coming
up, The Evolution Women’s PPV after that and then it’s Crown Jewel. We don’t get a typical PPV again until Survivor
Series in the latter half of November. Might as well keep things fast and loose. Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites…we’ll
see if we’re so moved.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
