Still Hungry? RAW Can Fill You...

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts!

Hope yours is drier than mine.  We’re soaked over here on the southern West Coast.  Besides that, it’s time for RAW again and the theme is setting-up for the Royal Rumble.  We’ve got a couple weeks so, we won’t be getting the juiciest bits but we’ll be getting something to nosh on.  We can expect another Triple Threat betwixt Dean Ambrose, Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins.  As you remember, it was Lashley who busted up the party last week.  They’ll get their chance to settle it “fair and square” this time around.

Also, the Ladies get some action in the form of Sasha Banks and Ronda Rousey going up against the imposing duo of Nia Jax and Tamina.  After Banks’ rousing display last week, we’ll see if she can keep the momentum going.  She keeps it up, she could find herself with Becky Lynch as the key rival in her canon.  It’s nice to see the competition being upped in such organic fashion.  The roster is being allowed to show its talent and that’s great.  I love it!  I’m happy to see people willing to display what they can do and why they’re in this business.

On that note, we should get a look at some of the call-ups this week as well.  The interesting note there is that they may have to replace or omit the debut of Lars Sullivan.  I wasn’t sure about this guy mainly because I wasn’t sure if this was going to be like a Finn Bálor push or not.  When they hyped Bálor up, I was expecting to see someone of decent size and out walks this guy who looks like I can take him.  It was a little disappointing but I haven’t had a problem with Bálor in all honesty.  He’s establishing himself enough but I have to admit, not my particular cup of tea but he delivers and that’s all that matters.  Now, I hear that Sullivan may have had an “anxiety attack” prior to some scheduled dark matches.  Unfortunately, that’s just no good PR wise.  If you’re supposed to be the new, in-house maniac you can’t have those sort of mental health issues.  The Kayfabe is blown right there.  I feel for the guy but if the big time makes the knees buckle, then the Indie scene may be best for him.  We’ll see if they give him another chance.  Anyway, we’ll see what they got for us.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, we’ll sit back and wait and see if things get better or worse.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
