Clash in Italy 2026 - RAW Fallout
How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?
How’d you like Clash
in Italy? Personally, I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. I was expecting it to
be a whole lot of whatever and if you go by what the IWC says, it was but it
was fun. You won’t hear too much complaining from me unless it drops back to
where it was when I started. I witnessed WWE produce crap and what we’re getting
now is just standardized. It can’t be “crazy” every week. They have to build to
moments of crazy so expect this to read like work some weeks. Technically to
them, that’s what it is 😉 I don’t have too
much to talk about but we got enough to have a brief discussion. Let’s dive in,
shall we?
Over in the Realm of
AEW, there’s not much to report from this week’s Collision. The Future
seems to be advancing on schedule as Jon Moxley partnered up with PAC to take
on some kids who call themselves The Infantry. That went more or less to plan. Mox
only bit one of their noses, but it was Daniel Garcia’s Championship Match with
Konosuke Takeshita at the end of the night that got all the action.
Mox was supportive and
sat in on Commentary to give Garcia some extra motivation. When he got too
excited to sit still Marina Shariff tagged in and offered up some…colorful commentary
of her own. She certainly has a distinct take on how to handle adversaries.
It was no surprise Garcia
went home empty-handed but a Takeshita win was the last thing the Don Callis
Family wanted to see so, they crashed the celebration causing the proverbial
clearing of the benches.
I don’t know if this
will lead to all our warfare or just another Saturday night but there’s room
for building drama and tension. Summer will soon officially be upon us and the
first inklings of what’s to come should show soon. All I’ll say is that the
action has to lead to the “consequences”. How they get from A →
B → C should be obvious and easy to follow.
It should deteriorate into a shit show fairly quickly but understandably so.
Why what happens should make sense even if no one sees it coming. Proper
execution is key. In retrospect, the signs should be there and it should seem a
natural conclusion. Can’t wait. Have fun with it!
In the WWE
Universe we witness the Fallout of Clash in Italy. A lot of people are
bemoaning the continuation of the Bloodline Saga but what family changes overnight,
I ask you? Look to your own. You know who still has the same grudge from
childhood. Will it ever change? It’s possible but do you hold your breath? This
family is like no other in that regard. They’ll always have “their shit” to
deal with and we’ll be a party to it.
I say Jacob Fatu
simply becomes the pitbull for the family for now. He’s been “humbled” for the time being and can channel all that energy into supporting the family, or so it could
seem. He could just as easily lie in wait for a betrayal. The only thing about
that is the story has to be fleshed out. It can’t just be done on a whim and
then it’s peters out ‘cause then what’s the point. If this is to go on “forever”
the reason should be clear and the grievances believable. If he’s just “bad now”
then at least do it comically so I don’t get bent out of shape by the laziness.
I’m the first to say this shit ain’t getting an Emmy. Don’t have to impress me.
As for Oba Femi having
to get back in line, I don’t mind it. He’s young yet and there’s a lot of time
to fill in theory. He needs challenges to overcome. Let him establish himself
and then we can start lining up the big matches and the inevitable Heel Turn.
Does anyone really want to just see him strut around with Titles. He’ll get ‘em.
I’m not upset at that, they just have to make it interesting. Let them take
their time.
I’ll give Match
of the Night to GUNTHER and Cody Rhodes. They set the scene nicely on last week’s
SmackDown so all they had to do is deliver and they did. The controversy
at the end just builds a feud. No complaints with that. Always need something to
bitch about in this universe.
So that brings us
to tonight’s RAW. It’s already over and done with since they’re still
abroad. Looks like they’ll try to keep this Night of Champions date in Saudi
Arabia but don’t be surprised if it gets scrapped. This ceasefire deal with Iran
seems paper thin if you ask me but I’m no expert. Until we hear one way or
another, we can expect for tonight the start of the King & Queen of the
Ring Tournaments. Looks like Oba Femi will smash his way through Carmelo Hayes,
Penta (Lucha-Mitsu) and Solo Sikoa. And will see how Fatu handles the aftermath
of eating so much humble pie. He may need some Pepto-Bismol
We’ll get started at 6:30pm PDT and then one more early start next week and that’s it! We return to West Coast Rules. Get it in while you can.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis
