SmackDown Knows How to Behave. Tends to Be the Example...

A Good Tuesday to You, Enthusiasts!

I hope today finds you well.  So, the big news from last night was the return of Dean Ambrose.  He left the “Lunatic Fringe” he returns, I’d say, simply as “Fringe”.  Perhaps he’s on the fringe of Society, the fringe of Sanity but he’s definitely reading as…different.  From the looks of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes a subtle heel turn.  Perhaps not so much “bad” as rogue.  He’ll see to no one, not even his “Brothers”.  That's some drama to drum up and if not with the former members of The Shield, Baron Corbin is an easy target, being a beacon representation of The Authority.  There are plenty of places this new iteration can play, we’ll just have to see if it takes.

In light of that, SmackDown now has to take us into Summer Slam, dancing with anticipation.  To do that, they’re going to try to give Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville something to do.  At some point, Charlotte and Becky Lynch will give Carmella something to think about for Sunday.  AJ Styles has some parting thoughts for Samoa Joe, also.  Seeing how Samoa Joe is going to show us all how it’s done, it will be interesting to see how Styles counters.  Elsewhere, Aiden English will try his hand at the upstart “Cien” Almas.  Still not all that impressed.  And The New Day will dance with SAnitY and maybe get some additions in The Bar or Usos…The Bludgeon Brothers more likely, though.  It’s not hopeless but they’ll have to be crafty.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Like/Favorites…don’t give away any handouts.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
