RAW Ups the Pace Just a Smidge as We Head to WrestleMania....

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

It’s just another Monday. 1 of 4 prior to this year’s WrestleMania. That said, those who are aware are prepared for the slow march towards the event. WWE is trying to keep our interest by promoting John Cena for their Boston show, which is tonight. Also, AEW had their PPV last night so there are a few things to chat about. Let’s get into it.

So, AEW had its Revolution last night and from what I can gather there were 3 matches worth checking out. MJF vs. Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page and House of Black vs. The Elite. No surprise all WWE alums in that set. I’ll catch these later and see for myself. Yet, the matches aren’t the biggest buzz from last night.

Apparently, MJF “shot” a little and tossed some water at some kid, who was not a plant, and naturally this caused some ruffled feathers. Many aren’t appreciative of MJF going “too heel” in this moment. I can see what people are saying. This is how people get sued so let’s just chalk this up to some immaturity on MJF’s part. He’s not 30 yet, right? I can see how this adds to his reality-straddling approach but that nuance tends to fade once the summons gets served. He’ll have to set that sort of thing up if he wants true praise.

In the WWE Universe, there is still talk of acquiring MJF in 2024 when his AEW contract is supposedly up but there’s also some speculation that his contract may have been extended so, we’ll see what happens there.

For those wondering about what’s up with Ronda Rousey, word is that she's nursing a legitimate injury but they’re still trying to work with it. I kinda noticed that with her going to the ring last Friday with her arm in a sling fashioned from her Black Belt, or so the legend goes. I think touches like that are fine. If they can turn Rousey into the modern day Chuck Norris I’m all for it. I’m down with, “Ronda Rousey doesn’t fight. She milks your will to win and then drinks it.” and any similar jokes on hyperbole. Let’s see if the likes of Michael Cole and Corey Graves continue to slowly but surely blow her out of proportion.

In any case, that for the most part brings us to tonight’s RAW. We know that John Cena will be attending and the person waiting for him appears to be Austin Theory. That should be telling 😉 Kevin Owens will continue to beef with the Bloodline courtesy of Solo Sikoa. Logan Paul is supposed to show up to get in Seth Rollins’ face. Johnny Gargano will have a fair fight with Finn Bálor. And Bianca Belair will stay fresh courtesy of Carmella. For all other tidbits and moments of note, you’ll have to watch as I will in a few minutes on the West Coast. Some things just stay simple. Nothing wrong with that.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
