RAW Makes Way for the Holidays....

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts.

How’s every little thing? There’s a few things we can talk about tonight  in both WWE and AEW so, why beat around the bush. Let’s get into it.

We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as their Golden Boy, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is sidelined with a shoulder injury. He’s still willing to play and after Cody Rhodes going to work with a torn pectoral muscle I can see him saying just tape me up and get me back out there. Yet, he is young yet and he doesn’t really have to prove anything so, let’s wish him well and hope for a quick recovery. It’s no fun sitting on the sidelines.

In the WWE Universe, there are more conceptual issues floating around. Grayson Waller is earning his legitimate Heel chops as he triggered a fan at a house show recently. To look at it, Waller is just doing his job. Some guy took it too serious and lost his shit and some face as he was roughly escorted out. It’s hard to sympathize. The name of the game is to get your goat so, mission accomplished. The kid is learning the hard way.

Speaking of the hard way, it appears WWE doesn’t want to stumble upon any copyright infringement inadvertently so they are removing “Yeet” from Jey Uso’s association. I’m thinking it could draw undue attention from an “eccentric” Kanye West. I could see how the whole thing could be taken out of context and blown out of portion. I don’t blame WWE for heading off at the pass. So, what’s Jey gonna say now? Geet? Jeet? Xeet? Zeet? Guess we’ll see 😉

In any case that brings us to tonight’s RAW. It could be a precursor to the Tribute to the Troops show planned for SmackDown but it’s a technical free for all because there are no PPVs/PLEs for December. It’s all about the Royal Rumble from here on out and that’s a long time. We’ve got a little over 7 weeks of leadup so be prepared for a little bit of everything.

Word is that CM Punk and Roman Reigns are soon to pop off a feud which could be a lot of fun going into it especially with all the history that envelops Mr. Paul Heyman aka the Wise Man. Whether Punk poaches him back will certainly be something we watch for. All I can suggest is that they try to have as much fun with it as they can. The potential to overthink it could become strong and I think they just have to make it interesting and have a good time selling it. Whatever gets them there, I’m all for.

In the meantime, we have some tidbits to consider as Drew McIntyre takes up a challenge against Sami Zayn. Zayn professes he knows McIntyre’s pain but does he? Imperium sans GUNTHER will see how DIY does renovations. Nia Jax will catch up with Shayna Baszler in the ring and we can look forward to Seth Rollins taking on Jey Uso with the Heavyweight Championship on the line. Funny how I don’t think either one of these guys makes weight but 🤷

I’ll be watching just the same. 8pm PST is when the unofficial watch party starts. I do my business on the Twitters but I can understand if you’re not feeling it right now. I keep my politics out of it but I can support a person who honors theirs. For that reason, I’ll be experimenting on Threads. They finally have a desktop login so I’ll be comparing and contrasting. From the looks of it, Twitter is better for the written word still but I’m open. We’ll see how this goes.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
